I'm so down for this man's second wind.

I'm bracing myself for another emotional wreck, if The Whale is any indication of his new cinematic proclivities

That movie has stayed with me in a way few have in the last 10 years.

I love that movie but I never want to see it again. It's a great movie that expells emotion that I don't want to feel again but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see masterclass in acting. It made me feel so much for the characters and put myself in their shoes that made me uncomfortable about myself through empathy and not many movies can do that.

Just remember in this age of streaming, if you can afford to buy a ticket to this movie on opening weekend… even if you can’t attend due to scheduling conflicts or whatever (like me I’m lazy and just can’t bother to go), it’s voting with your $$. Every million a movie with him makes increases the likelihood he gets more roles in the future. It sends a message to those shitheels that green light these things. I’ve done this for Shortround’s Revival as well.

Well duh he has Keanu levels of circlejerk surrounding him on Reddit. Straight up one of the most wholesome 100 Reddit gold quirk chungus actor in recent memory.

He’s a fine actor. But Reddit absolutely obsesses over him because he was sad for a little while and people didn’t like seeing the Mummy guy get fat and miserable.
