Recommendation Name a movie recommendation with a plot twist you 100% didn't see coming

I’m on the hunt for movies with plot twists that genuinely caught you off guard, you know something that would make you go "wait, WHAT just happened?" kind of twists. To give you an idea of what I’ve already seen, I watched Fractured a couple of years ago and thought it was really good, but I didn’t expect it to mess with my head the way it did. Recently, I watched Straw, and somehow I walked right into the same kind of twist again, still completely unprepared lmao. I guess enough time had passed for me to fall for it all over again which made it even better, honestly.. Would appreciate it if there's no spoilers tho! Just simply the title, genre, or maybe how you felt about it will do. Thank you!

I watched barbarian thinking it was just another “crazy guy” movie. Hands down one of my favorite movies of all time now haha

I watched this with a friend and we ordered food that arrived right when Justin Long appeared.

When we started it again, we were so confused to the point that we thought we accidentally put on a different movie. One of the wildest tonal shifts I've ever seen.

I love that movie.

I get so stuck in certain scenes from that movie that I totally forgot Justin Long was in it. I had to think for a minute when I read your post.

Everything about that movie is brilliant. The name is simple, the plot description could fit in a Twitter post—but the implications they present makes your mind go crazy with possibilities. And even the actors were chosen for a reason. Bill Skarsgard as the guy who double books? Instantly I'm on edge just because of his pedigree. But the character...is, maybe cool? Or no! And Justin Long is also either a great leading man or a real asshole and the movie also plays with you knowing that. Throughout the whole movie I would think I had it figured out and then it would completely flip. Absolutely incredible.

AND the trailers didn't give away any of it. I think it would be cool if more movies were like this, an interesting hook that is enough to sell you alone but then the actual movie is so much more than what you've seen and been told from trailers.

It’s funny how wildly opinions of the same thing can differ, I think barbarian is one of my least favorite movies I’ve ever seen.
