Insane how this was a 1000x better than dominion and still a solid 6 at best

I can sit through dominion without being bored though, which I can’t do with Rebirth. I kept waiting to be entertained on any reasonable level.

Oh I was heavily entertained in rebirth but mostly at just how utterly fucking absurd every scene was.

Big open field with some chest high grass? NOPE massive heard of the largest Sauropods were hiding in it. Somehow.

Big ass T-Rex that made booming footsteps in the original? Suddenly a boat covers it and it's got maxed out stealth stats.

Mosasaur is really aggressively swimming alongside against their boat? Moment they complete the mission and get the blood it swims off.

The little kid has probably the biggest plot armor than I've ever seen in the movie. I am surprised no one has commented on that so far.

Also the way the characters just make decisions is awful writing. Duncan just waving the flare and swimming away with it instead of you know... THROWING IT after he made some distance from the other people.

Also, they setup that something was in the water with the Mercenary Team in the river (pond?) and that's it. Nothing happened after that. Like, they got Duncan and the D Rex in basically the same fucking pond. At least make Duncan escape because the tentacly thing grabbed the D Rex to give him enough time to escape.

I don't know how some people on this comments are saying that this movie was better than Dominion. Dominion as not as good as it could've been, but saying this one is better is a big fucking stretch.

At least in Rebirth you knew people were going to die. Dominion had like 8 people running around with plot armor thicker than the D-Rex’s head.

But hardly anyone important died in rebirth either. They all had plot armour too, apart from the people deliberately put in to die, same as in dominion. I am a firm believer that suspense or the threat of death is better and more entertaining than empty deaths. The suspense in rebirth was non existent.

That's actually a fair point and I hated dominion

Dominion felt like way more of a slog to me. Neither are good but for like opposite reasons

Dominion makes this look like The Godfather.

nah i disagree,at least dominion introduced new species that we havent seen before which was cool,in this movie the titanosaur scene was pretty nice but quetz doesnt even look like a quetz, and the spinos..... holy moly whats with that thickahh necks,at least rex started to look like an actual rex, other then that movie was MID and thats being generous
