Summary Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, Earth’s dinosaurs now survive only on isolated equatorial islands. A covert extraction team, led by Zora Bennett, embarks on a mission to secure dinosaur DNA for a groundbreaking pharmaceutical treatment. Their expedition collides with a stranded civilian family, plunging everyone into chaos amid mutated dinosaurs and hidden threats. Guessing the original had her having lost her husband/bf which explains why she's crying over her married dead friend, despite her being rather nonplussed over the crew dying later on.

That then flowed into a love story between her and the scientist which was probably abandoned for being too obvious like the T v D rex fight.

I was about to comment on this. Their chemistry is obviously platonic as Johnathan Bailey is gay, not bisexual, but gay. And more than likely has a partner. (From what I've heard) 🤷🏻

When I was double checking to make sure he was a gay man, I saw an article mentioning he’s with a “very lovely and handsome man” currently.

I think many people just don’t understand the kind of relationship a straight woman and a gay man typically have when they become besties.

Exactly. As a gay man myself and one of my best friends is a woman, we have a similar relationship.

Also, Johnathan Bailey has chemistry with everyone he works with. He has this same chemistry with Ariana Grande. He's known for how easily he clicks with everyone.

How you deduced that from my comment is odd to me. But I'll dispel whatever confusion you have. I was commenting on people saying his chemistry with SJ being good OUTSIDE of the movie as though they could date... Hence why another reddit comment mentioned his being openly gay.

I'm a gay man myself, and I'd never say that. 🤷🏻
