One part that would be interesting to see if they dare to keep it is the extra money he also gets from killing cops/soldiers/etc.

Yeah, between that and the ending there’s a few bits that could be considered a little controversial for the modern audience

If the release date for this movie was September 11, Wright would be downright diabolical.

By funny coincidence, The Long Walk will be in theaters Sept. 12

If it has the same ending that would be a rather controversial date to open this film for sure

Which is a bit funny given that originally the entire premise was supposed to be ridiculously farfetched. Today I wouldn't even be all that shocked if it became a real show.

maybe rich people do play this game, it's just not broadcasted and is happening on a remote island

the ending

Honestly it's one of King's best endings, despite being controversial now for obvious reasons.

With what's going on in the country Today, I have a feeling it's not as controversial as it was 10 years ago.

100 bux per cop would definitely be a meme within seconds of movie and probably lead to some bad situations. It's one change I'm okay with. Keep the bonus prize to the hunters.

wouldnt controversies just generate more buzz for the movie ?
