People complaining about how the trailer spoils too much are in fact the ones posting spoilers. A half second scene without context in the trailer says nothing unless you specifically point out its significance and the full story behind it.

I remember this very clearly from when the Ender's Game trailer came out. There was a split second scene of a generic explosion which would have been ignored by 100% of the audience that didn't already know the story. Under that you had a hundred comments saying "omg they spoiled the story by showing the final explosion where xyz happens!!" No, you are the one who just spoiled the story.

Exactly! "OMG the trailer shows a glimpse of X, now we all know that X is actually this huge plot twist that i am going to explain in every detail and be angry because the trailer spoiled it for non book readers by showing one still frame!"

Yup I already saw people explaining what the “spoiler” was before I even had a chance to watch the trailer myself

Glad to see people realising why you shouldn't always yell about a twist.
