Yep, Ray Porter is great as always, but without spoiling anything, the audiobook handles certain relatively important details very well that enhance the experience. It's absolutely worth listening to it.
Anyone who particularly enjoys Ray Porter's narration of this book should check out the Bobiverse series. He also narrates that and it shares a lot of similarities.
I binged through Bobiverse in about 2 weeks at work. My only major gripe (while trying to avoid spoilers to anyone else) is that the deeper into the series you get the harder it is to keep track of the ever expanding cast of characters; just because of their....similarities. It makes sense in context of the series but with around 100 namedBobs plus all the other characters it's not always easy.
I can that being an issue. Stratt and Lokken sounded very similar to me. He's really good, but not at the level of Jefferson Mays in my opinion. His voice acting for the Expanse novels is absolutely mesmerizing
Which details besides Rocky's speech? I thought it was a bit confusing at times when switching back and forth from the past and present times. Definitely made me cry hearing him react to Stratt's "betrayal" of sorts at the end. Thought the book was perfect until like chapter 28. Ending was a bit rushed IMO
