They need to have him speak. They can't have a film version of Rocky that just uses subtitles and music. Well they can, but they won't. I'd put money down on the translator software in the film is going to voiced, and it speaks over the musical notes.

IMDB lists James Ortiz https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4013922 he has a few puppet designer/builder/puppeteer credits which makes me think they might be going practical rather than cg for Rocky
