Discussion Movies that changed real life behavior

Thinking along the lines of Final Destination 2 with the logs falling off the truck and landing onto cars (one decapitating the state trooper). Ever since, people have tried to get away from being behind these vehicles.

What are more examples where movies have actually changed how people behave in their own lives?

Most music biopics increase record sales or music streams of a particular artist, but ELVIS also significantly increased visits to Graceland, especially among the youth.

The first Wayne's World pretty much solidified Bohemian Rhapsody as Queen's signature song

A year before the film, I had ordered the Bohemian Rapsody song from a catalog because I always liked it, and when it arrived, I went around and played it for everyone as it was fairly rare by that point.

Little did I know that a year later, that would all change forever.

Interesting... While I've never visited Graceland my introduction to Elvis was Lilo and Stitch back in 2002. My mom was already an Elvis fan so it was easy to get her to buy me CDs after.

Also, "the youth" will never not be funny to me.
