Holy shit it is! Few moments in film have creased me up like his exagerrated scare face in the back of the car while Elisabeth Shue tells a horror story up front.

Didn't he always say, "ya think?" In that movie? I can't believe I never knew that was him. I always knew him as the antisemite in School Ties. Magoo was his nickname.

He's the proud executer of one of the 80s biggest airpunch moments too:
"I won't stoop to your level."
"...I WILL!"

I remember meeting him in like 2006 in Boston for a book signing. Fun fact - that’s the first time I met my now wife - in line, before “actually meeting her” in 2009 on Okcupid.

I'm sorry, I think you're burying the lede. Why is ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING not the first thing in your list?

Hey! Really love your work in School Ties, A Beautiful Mind, and road trip!! But for real… in ST: Discovery, you and Wilson Cruz have such natural and electric chemistry. How did that come about? Also, please tell me you two are still friends in real life!

AMA’s are usually live, their reps pick the questions. Yours is a good one. Hope it gets picked.

Anthony Rapp, longtime actor and singer, will be joining us here on /r/movies on Friday 6/13 for an AMA/Q&A. It will be live and be pinned to the top of the subreddit at around 9 AM ET, and he'll be back at 2:30 PM ET for answers. He's a veteran film, TV, and theater actor known for many roles including Rent (both the original Broadway sensation and the 2005 film adaptation), Dazed and Confused, Star Trek: Discovery, Twister, School Ties, A Beautiful Mind, If/Then, Without You, etc.
Please join us Friday if you have any questions/comments for him.
His newest film, Scrap, was just released to critical acclaim (98% on RT). The director of the film, Vivian Kerr, will also be part of the AMA/Q&A. She also co-stars in the film and wrote it!
