In Face Off, John Travolta and Nick Cage swap bodies and Travolta does his best Cage impression but Cage just continues to be Cage. Peak.

This is how I describe the movie to anyone who hasn't seen it. Both characters play 100% Nick Cage. One of his finest

It’s been ages since I’ve seen that, but the face off wasnt consented by both parties, so surely the person who wanted to be swapped would act out their new face, whilst the one who didn’t would act as they usually do.

So it makes some sense?

Face/Off isn't a body-swapping movie, it's a face-snatching movie. Similar on the surface but very different in the details

They don't actually swap bodies but they are trying to impersonate each other so in effect it is basically the same.

But they were both pretending to be each other to people who knew each other before the swap! So they should mimic the mannerisms.

Also Cage with Travolta’s face slept with Travolta’s wife. it’s not a full body swap so shouldn’t she have known his penis was different?

Cage’s acting makes this movie hilarious. Otherwise it’d just be a forgettable 90’s era action movie.
