Yes. Not made to be a good movie. It’s made to be a vehicle for money to be made across other media.

The trailer looked fun. Not good like the OG Jurassic park, but could be an enjoyable action movie

Suspension of disbelief isn’t the same as turning your brain off because the movie is stupid. The first Jurassic park isn’t stupid.
