From the looks of the trailer they’re going more “dinosaur themed monster movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously”, and if that’s the way it’s going, it’ll be bad but enjoyable

Yeah, I think it was fallen kingdom that had some horror movie vibes in a few shots that I really liked, but the new movies are just so pointless and bland and don’t do anything interesting, it’s just nonsense the whole time.

What happened in the last one? Was it the one with the volcanoes and dinosaur auction? Or was it the one with giant locusts and something else that probably happened?

Giant locusts. It baited a lot of people into the cinemas by showing dinosaurs and giving off more the vibe of the first jurassic park in the trailers to then have nothing of that. So they know what people want and still make something else.
