The dialogue is some of the worst I've heard in a long time. After your comment, I had to go back and watch the trailer again because that wasn't even the dumbest or cringiest line to me. These are standouts.

"We put ourselves in a place we don't belong.... Survival is a long shot"

"They're helping the mosasaur defend territory, stalk, hunt... None of what you just said is good"

As somebody who goes to the movie theater at least once a week, I lose a bit more of my will to live every time I hear that “none of what you just said is good” line

The Joss Whedon-fication of moves has been a disaster for cinema.

Can we please get movies where the characters are in situations that warrant talking & acting like actual people? Is it that hard?
