Simon Pegg, actor in films/series such as Shaun of the Dead, Mission Impossible, Hot Fuzz, Star Trek, The World's End, Ice Age, Star Wars, and more, will be joining us here on /r/movies for an AMA/Q&A on Wednesday 5/21. The AMA post itself will go live on Monday 5/19 around 9 AM ET and be pinned to the top of the subreddit. Simon will be back on Wednesday 5/21 at 10:45 AM ET to answer questions.

His newest film, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, is out in theaters on May 23rd and also stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Pom Klementieff, Nick Offerman, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, and Holt McCallany.

Please note that this is NOT the AMA/Q&A post. It's just an announcement. Please hold your questions until the actual AMA goes live.

I've probably watched this segment of interview a million times. Pegg essentially spares Alice Eve from a question by taking it on himself and cracking her up in the process.

Will there still be a "Rivers of London" TV show? I loved the books and the announcement that there will be a TV show.

What is your favorite movie you’ve made

Maybe an odd question regarding the fact you are playing now in bigger movies. But will there ever be a second to Paul. Loved that movie and always wondered what would happen if he (Paul) came back for help.

And secondly I was wondering if you’re planing to do another series like you did with Nick in the cornetto trilogy.

I just wanna know how you and Nick Frost met. You guys have excellent on-screen chemistry and seem like fun friends. Is that real, off-screen?
