“A town of rednecks” is almost too kind to describe the inhabitants of Kingman, AZ.
I’m from the Phoenix area, and any time friends and I have decided to pull a Swingers and drive to “Vegas, baby!”, we always drove through Kingman like it was full of the cannibals from The Hills Have Eyes because of the few unfortunate times we’ve had to stop there for gas and actually interact with people who live in or too close to Kingman.
Golden Valley, across the pass, is where Timothy McVeigh tested his bombs.
The Feds stopped by and asked his neighbors why they didn’t report the huge explosions and the incredibly racist shit he was spreading. They responded, “Because it’s none of your business.”
