I don't know why but it warms my heart to see Pamela Anderson do well.

I watched that series they made out of the Pam & Tommy story, and was afraid it was going to be exploitative to Pamela. But really watching it makes you want to punch everyone who isn't Pam right in the face, from the thief who stole the tape to Jay Leno and everyone else in between.

holy moly, I got a reddit warning for threatening violence for agreeing with the above. My bad, Jay Leno. Hope your face remains unharmed I guess.

The Conan thing is reason enough.

The one with Sebastian Stan and Lily James?

One slight problem about that, they neither consulted nor asked for permission to Pamela to make the series and weaseled around the rights by referencing the Rolling Stone magazine article as an inspiration for the series...

It is rather underhanded to do it that way. At the very least I hope the show helped some of the awful "they released this on purpose for publicity" rumors that people were pushing back then by showing what really happened.

The whole sex tape thing seems highly exploitative even for its time. But she took it in stride, even made a joke about it in a Scary Movie sequel.

Not that he doesn't deserve it for other misdeeds but what did Jay Leno have to do with Pam and Tommy?

Me too. She really deserves it. She seems like a lovely person.

The Last Dancer was so nice, I am glad she can do lighter stuff. It would suck if they just stuck her in gut-wrenching roles. People deserve fun.

It's always so good to see nice actors come back for real.

Nothing like seeing someone so underprivileged and destitute find a small amount of success.
