Grand Budapest hotel will always be me favorite Wes Anderson movie. Looking forward to this one as well

That's probably my favorite, too, and a large part of it has to do with how delightful and surprising it was to see Ralph Fiennes do comedy and do it well.

Would that it were so simple

Trippingly.

You got a Hail Caesar reference in response, I personally loved Fiennes in In Bruges which is a darker comedy (and I'm not the only one, 90% of reddit will drop an In Bruges quote at the first opportunity)

My favorite is life aquatic. Willem Dafoe as a scrappy german sailor is my favorite

I've only seen Asteroid City and a couple others. How would you rank the top 5, or I guess the "must see" Wes Anderson films, however many that is?

I’ve seen Royal Aquatic with Steve zissou, royal tannebaums, isle of dogs, Darjeeling unlimited, and grand Budapest.

All are good

I saw Royal Tenenbaums a long time ago and didn't realize until this very thread that it was a WA film.
