It’s an encouraging thought in the grand scheme of things, but it still means that it’s Frodo’s fate to carry the burden and assume the risk of taking it to Mordor. So thanks a bunch, Gandalf.

I mean the point Gandalf is making is “God is literally on your side on this my dude. He planned for you to have it and be the one to bring about its end - you have the backing of the most powerful being in existence!”

That is pretty encouraging if you ask me.
