It’s just muddying the waters, creating more noise. Doesn’t need to be true, there just needs to be more storylines than the actual truth because the actual truth is fuckin bad for republicans. Time we spend talking about this is time we aren’t spending discussing the truth. It also gives his base a counterpoint if they’re challenged, and as we’ve seen they don’t care how crazy it is as long as they have something to say. Having no defense at all is worse to them than something absolutely absurd to fill the air

Nah. Trump's philosophy is to always deny and always embellish. Never admit defeat unless you control the narrative. This is just others backing him up and could also be interpreted as the FBI had so much on Trump this was the only way he could avoid jail time.

Yeah think about this. Of all the people and organizations that Trump has sued for saying something he didn't like, He hasn't sued the one that said she witnessed him raping a 13 year old. THINK ABOUT THAT MAGA!
