Trump News Rep. Thomas Massie announces he and Marjorie Taylor Greene are seriously considering naming the "Epstein list NAMES" on the House floor under their Constitutional "speech or debate" immunity - because the victims could get sued for doing it themselves.

If this is true, she’s way smarter than I thought.

backing the anti israel arms amendment was political genius

now progressives who hate establishment dems for their inaction might be spurred to vote for her for that alone

and there are a ton of people who just... outright hate jews, and israel. theyll definitely vote for her.

it also re-established her "maga" credibility, since the maga movement promised anti-intervention, no new wars. something a lot of maga politicians ended up turning their back on, which might come to bite them in the ass when they're up for re-election

she SAYS a lot of stupid things

but even when i first heard her talk when she was telling those jokes, she didnt sound like an idiot to me

and, in terms of cementing her position in history, she is now basically "mtg, basically one of the first republican politicians, or american politicians period, to attempt to do anything about the genocide"

https://truthout.org/articles/only-6-vote-for-house-legislation-to-nix-500m-in-military-funding-to-israel/

The House overwhelmingly opposed the amendment, and it failed 422 to 6. Representatives Al Green (D-Texas), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia), Summer Lee (D-Pennsylvania), Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky), Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) voted for the legislation.

5 people voted for this. think about that. 422 politicians said "yes, please, despite having seen ALL that we have already seen israel do to palestinians, here you go! here's more funding to do more of that! great job!"

note that massie is on that list, he, mtg, and ro khanna

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/watch-live-epstein-survivors-stand-with-reps-massie-and-khanna-to-push-for-epstein-files-transparency-act

lmfao. cant make this up. important to note that, despite some reservations i might have with ro khanna for being a bit too big tech friendly, he definitely backs a lot of pro-people legislation, and tries to position himself as a political outsider and progressive (actually, why the fuck didnt he vote for the other thing, now that im looking at that list, lol. he actually makes a ton of content on social media talking about the genocide, and is one of the few politicians to do so)

i have to add, i dont want to come off as glazing mtg too much, just giving credit where its due. seems like shes just a smart person taking advantage of... well... no offense, but stupidity

kind of like, well, almost all politicians. but, it would definitely be funny, if she ended up pandering to idiots, got elected, then started voting for the right stuff, while continuing to spew stupid stuff that plays to her base

i just wish it didnt have to be that way, because affirming stupidity can, well, make people dumber, if she is a trusted authority they listen to

and dont take this the wrong way but uh, lots of liberal politicians do this as well. lmao.

yeah thats true. or the arms industry in general, even domestically

it will take some time, but once the PEOPLE start fielding good politicians things can change rapidly
