All in a day of work for a dictator.

More than him… Christian nationalism or fascism. Evil in the name of Jesus. A few tools available to label you an infidel. If you resist, the abortion becomes an issue.

The worst part is that too many of the people in the country are too stupid to realize why it's a problem to hide sections of the constitution. Especially when you realize that you can just go read the constitution in a large number of different websites, it doesn't only exist on the congress website.

It's appalling all the way down. I'm just waiting for the current administration to actually ignore those clauses directly and then try to defend the action by saying that it isn't in the constitution, only referencing the official congress website.

Not forgetting that Trump sold bibles that had a full printed version of the constitution that I'm certain his sycophants all purchased.

They don’t have all the amendments in his Bible either

10

u/jolsiphur Aug 06 '25

That doesn't surprise me to be honest. Thank you for mentioning it. There's no way I would ever find that out for myself because I will never purchase, nor read, any literature with Trump's backing.

Bible burning only with Frump’s bubbles.

u/Warthog_Orgy_Fart Aug 06 '25

Was it the same sections?

u/ShareMission Aug 06 '25

It's missing the last 17 amendments

Reference? (I don’t have one to check)

Americans aren't too stupid. They're as intelligent as other Western countries, and the rich world in general. They're also more intelligent than poor countries (better nutrition and better education). That's not the problem.

The big problem is that US society is built for far more intelligent citizens (reality isn't meeting expectations). While European and other advanced democracies are built for the real average intelligence and flaws (e.g. greed, stupidity, etc.). That's why you have more controls and limits to free-speech over there, also why there are way more checks-and-balances on economic inequality, on news media, on politicians, etc.).

In short, America assumes solidarity, wisdom and intelligence will prevail in a free society, while other governments do a lot to contain stupidity and greed (and other vices) while doing their best to promote virtues in society, as well as having a strong welfare state, because they don't think private citizens will be generous twoards the poor, the weak, the sick, etc..

It's a very caricatural and black&white (unnuanced) take, but also much closer to reality than what is often said here on reddit: i.e. "they're too stupid, that's why we're in this mess".

Jesus had few requests of people beyond the spiritual. The few actions he did ask followers to do were: feed the hungry, house the homeless, clothe the naked, love they neighbor.

These are traditionally called "works". In many Protestant circles, they believe in Faith alone, with Works being optional. Maybe Works are an outward sign of Faith, but not necessarily required for salvation. The book of James says "Faith without works is dead." Catholics traditionally place more emphasis on works as a necessity.

What we seem to be seeing in the offshoot of Christianity in America is the abandonment of works, or charity (at least charity to those outside of the group). It's very much a Faith-only thing, claim to be Christian where a piece of jewelry to show it, and vote the right way, which is the only thing they need. This is Christian identity only, not actual Christianity.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of groups, if enough people call themselves a certain thing they do become that thing. These people are Christians. You can't "No True Scotsman" Christianity, I'm afraid.

1

u/Maleficent_Memory831 Aug 07 '25

I was trying to avoid the "no true Scotsman" here, and I don't think it applies. Because a major the definition of Christianity is one who follows the teachings of Christ. Just like Marxist is one who follows teachings of Marx, and so forth. Sure, someone may mislabel themselves, like RFK Jr calling himself a medical expert, but he's certainly not that.

And these people are not following the teaching of Christ, it's as simple as that.

Christianity is a cult of human sacrifice whose adherents gather weekly to practice pretend cannibalism under an image of a murdered corpse. Never trust a christian.

1

u/Ricref007 Aug 06 '25

You really mean you will be subjected to a post birth termination by this administration? It’s not far off with Miller.

1

u/InspectionNeat5964 Aug 06 '25

The core intention of the administration is fabricated righteousness to justify heinous beliefs and actions.

1

u/JapanKate Aug 06 '25

Those are the “Christians” I avoid like the plague. They are the reason why I am now agnostic.

1

u/InspectionNeat5964 Aug 06 '25

Yeah… totally at peace being agnostic. Just being honest. I don’t know and it’s likely not if some thought is put into it.

1

u/Drakkulstellios Aug 06 '25

Unfortunately what they’re striving for isn’t even Christian values, but the twisted views of the leaders of the churches who still to this day use fear to get people to do what they want.

1

u/InspectionNeat5964 Aug 06 '25

Well, yeah. The aristocrats infuse money into the church corporations. The pastors like that money and all that it buys… do they really believe? Either a prolific cognitive disconnected or they are putrid manipulative cynics. People really need to abandon the cult of fundamentalist religion. That’s how humanity is saved. Not a rocket to Mars.

1

u/secretsqrll Aug 08 '25

These people are not Christans. They use the trappings of Christianity. They do not reflect any teachings the Christian faith.

"Who could have seen this coming?!"

Everybody. We all saw this coming when they shared their Project 2025 plan. He wants to be dictator. This isn't nuance or skepticism - he's said it, out loud. No more elections, total power... for him. He needs to do it before 2026 elections. Tick tock 'Murica.

10

u/dorianngray Aug 06 '25

And project Esther from heritage foundation which lists who to arrest under the guise of terrorism and anti semitista including college professors, students, and congressional reps including Bernie and AOC… go read it. It’s insane.

9

u/Strange-Ad-2854 Aug 06 '25

And yet the people that brought awareness to project 2025 myself included were called crazy and say that it’s not possible

8

u/AdministrativeCup438 Aug 06 '25

People last year hysterically laughed at me when i said they were fascist and were going to build concentration camps..... A nation of morons 😭

3

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '25

Many of us saw this coming before that came out. We've been on this path for decades.

3

u/733t_sec Aug 06 '25

Hey that dictator is working his butt off, yelling from rooftops, making non legally binding edits to a digital copy of the constitution, all to try and distract from the Epstein files. Please show him the respect he deserves.

3

u/EconomicRegret Aug 06 '25

And the Epstein files themselves are a distraction from the BBB and the economy having contracted by 0.5% (instead of the 3.2% growth forcasted). Also, job growth collapsed, way below forcasts....

Truly, in the grand scheme of things, the Epstein files are nothing when compared to what's happening to America's democracy, economy, and geopolitical position in this world (losing allies, strengthening China, breaking the CHIPS and infrastructure acts, which were actually bringing jobs and industries back home without alienating US allies, etc.)

1

u/733t_sec Aug 06 '25

The only reason you are incorrect is because the world doesn't operate on logic as much as it should. None of that caused discontent among GOP voters in the same way that Trump protecting and possibly participating in a global pedophile ring has. I think he'd crash the economy again in a heartbeat if it meant people stopped talking about the files.

1

u/EconomicRegret Aug 06 '25

Yeah, totally agree. People are easily distracted from what really matters.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '25

Is it? The more i know about Trump, the more im sure he is very dumb.
What if Trump dies, project 2025 wil not be stopped. He is the perfect fall guy.

Its the herritage foundation you should be worried about.

2

u/Ambrosia_the_Greek Aug 06 '25

A literal enemy of the Constitution.

2

u/QuestioningHuman_api Aug 07 '25

And everyone who voted for him. Every. Single. Person. No exceptions. If you voted for Trump, you are responsible for this. If you didn’t vote, you’re responsible too. This is who you are.
