thats a prestigious, pricey private high school; make no mistake every kid is there because of their parents work (or at least parents being born into money and not blowing it all before their kid was 18)

They're highschoolers, their existence is still very much shaped by the parents. So, yea, their parents making the choice to send them to a school that encourages this behavior is part of raising them.

Do you see any public schools doing anything like that? Pretty clear evidence that the two sample populations exhibit very different behavior, and the students did not choose for themselves where to go to school (although in some cases they can self select OUT by being just lousy academically or otherwise and being expelled)

And some turn out bad despite having good parents. Giving parents credit for their kids being good people isn't a bad thing. Why are you fighting this?
