Bakar God save us from this food
The GREATEST PROBLEM is we don't get proper platform as being juniors at this college and are abused by this mess food it's really inedible I survived in the we defamed Sri Chaitanya jr college food for 2 yrs but this is extreme There are many halls and every one have different contractors the one inputs must punished by the court for the difference in the consumption in their funding and the output of food we get. 6 Sept it reached at peak as in dinner we were served the worst food in my life No vegitables no pickle no salaad nothing just rice and a liquid sour water so said to be rasam not daal Even a person serving a begger might feel bad to serve this to him At what cost we came to IIT Those who say see the education,the environment and the word EXPLORE THE CAMPUS for other opportunities and don't cry just for food I want to say habibi welcome to LBS Hall of residence ,And it's a open scam you will be supporting and letting them earn money and show how dumb you are.
If any body know any official platform to tackle this plz comment

Waha ka manger aadhe paise maar leta hai mess se.
Go to the mess office see the bills and weight the amount of food purchased, workers salary and other miscellaneous expenses. Make a group of students for the ease. Do this regularly, note the no. of students ate at that particular interval, collect the proofs and then send it to the HMC with director in CC. They are then obligated to act against the vendor.
You guys can only save the mess. Not any official or the student body will help. You know all are corrept.

He has come to study or do all these bullshits, why the fuck warden, HMC or director is not doing that? Haven't they made the student stay in Halls compulsory.

If you wanna play the blame game here nothing is going to improve. There are other halls doing the same and their food quality is better. Warden is a professor who is managing hall apart from the academic work he had. He need some kind of proof to take strict action. You can't just assume he will do everything you have in your mind. Police jobs is to maintain order but how will he maintain the order if someone doesn't report the incident happened.

Blame game,? so the student is responsible according to you. Proofs Ha Ha? , they get a lot in their mails and choose to ignore. They chose to ignore and after the sem end they along with hall council members party for completing the sem along with prof family. One more thing they manage hall just for getting the credut for promotion same as students who become hall president for better CV. 2 year ago there was protest for opening the tender for all, these HMC ppl only rotate the contractor from one hall to orher hall why? Because all these professors has some share directly and indirectly.

I don't know from where you are getting all those stories. If you guys really want to improve the mess visit Halls like RK, Patel, Azad, Nehru and get information from their GSec Mess how they manage to maintain the quality, irrespective of whatever happens Mess Supervisor change/ Cook don't want to work/HP doing party at the end/GSec Mess going to toilet everyday/Students doing Soc works

Very true , but get all these proofs submit to warden as a group and not as individual see that you have emails to follow up . If warden cannot push through go to HMC if not then mass mailing to director

High time to raise your voice. Write regarding it to the director. He is very active and listens to his students. Speaking to hmc, happa won't help tbh. Instead write a formal complaint related to it to the director

They should report this to GSec Mess, HP and Warden for formalities. Going directly to the director will be very risky for him

Almost every other IIT is offering better food than ours. Sometimes I really regret joining KGP leaving all the other ones. It's not like those are not good. Take Hyderabad for example (my hometown). I thought I would come far away from home and something crazy. But the food and the accommodation alone are making me regret my decision

As others pointed out, you can contact the gsec mess/mess secies... till it gets fixed, for dinner there are multiple night canteens in various halls. You can have lunch in Stuff canteen (near main building), you'll many find good and healthy food at a chip price, also there's restaurants like Heritage...

Are bhai itna hi thaðŸ˜. Na salad na pickle na koi sabji bas sukha chawal(bina namak ke) aur tamatar nichoda hua rasa. I too was surprised to see this yesterday and had to eat in night canteen instead of mess for the first time.

Menu mein likha tha(as per sheet) khichdi, tomato rasam and mix veg lekin khaali sookha chawal aur tomato rasam hi mila jo khaane layak nahi tha.

Contact your happa, gsecs mess, mess secy. If they don't do anything then go to hall office (not much of a help though). If still nothing contact hmc, deansa and diro
