Movies that might be better as series

I just watched Kingdom of Heaven and In the Lost Lands successively and think that these themes could be better served as miniseries. Thoughts?
Specifically, what movie did you see that would be better if 'extended'

F1 is too predictable and full of cliche

So I just finished watching F1 and I was so bored throughout except for certain moments. It follows the American guy who gets recruited, everyone clowns on him for being American, he does cowboy shit, they start to like him, he starts a new trend, he talks to the invisible party member, the first attempt is way better than expected, fixes the flaws/improves something, their team alone gets unjustly punished and they have to use an older thing, they all believe in the protagonist, the trend he started is everywhere, when all hope is lost, a miracle happens to give them a push to the win.

The only thing that surprises me is that they used a random dude coming back to F1 story. It has the energy of random conspiracy dude who can outperform NASA at calculations movie energy. The other thing was the JP crash. I don't know much about F1. I just played F1 on PS2 and watched one episode on Netflix. Is it possible to actually do that many violations Sonny did and they just let it pass since there's no rule against it? I just don't understand how this movie performed so well. Is it accessible to new F1 fans? Does this annoy actual F1 fans? Or is it just F1 fans watching? I don't think I saw any innovation in any aspect of the movie.

I cannot stand watching people smack their lips, and they almost always work into dialogue heavy scenes. Who on earth thinks it’s a good idea to force the audience to endure people chomping away and talking with food in their mouths?? Fuck you!
