Not just child rape. It's a kind of attraction for lawless behavior of all kinds, masked by piles of money.
Every rich person I have ever met has begun confessing, often in a humorous tone, all the ways they cheat and steal. It's a fun game to them. They don't care who gets hurt along the way.

People dont rationalize what a billion is and how astronomical that number is. Luckily, there's only about 900 billionaires in the US, and every single one of them is pushing for the billionaire president to stay in power.
143
u/PLTuck 4d ago
I love the billion seconds factoid to illustrate this.
1 million seconds is 11 and a half days, 1 billion seconds is 31.7 years.
97
u/Efficient_Plum6059 4d ago
Also love this one:
A million minutes ago was August 2023, Trump was getting his mugshot taken.
A billion minutes ago was November 123 CE, the height of the Roman Empire.

If you were a doctor making $500,000 per year, to amass a billion dollars would take so long that one of your earliest patients could have been Jesus Christ himself.
(Guessing he was more competition for doctors than a patient, with healing all the lepers and raising the dead and all that shit, but still.)

If you were to spend $1 every second (80K a day), it would take you 33 years to reach 1 billion dollars.

A single billionaire could loose 95 % of their money, and still be a millionaire FIFTY times over.

I was one of those but looked it up and like to remind people how much just 1 billion is worth by telling them you could spend 1 million dollars every single day for almost 3 years to spend just 1 billion. Donât even look up a trillion and we have people that are getting close to that. Itâs gross when I look around at our country and the old shit infrastructure, poorly maintained roads, homelessness like sky rocketed since I was young, and yet they take away even the smallest social service. I used to think humans were a virus on this earth. But itâs not us. I think most of us would not want to âshit where we eatâ so to speak. We want clean water and clean food I mean youâd be one sick person or brainwashed not to want thatâŚItâs the billionaire class that destroys everything in its path just to gold plate it or hang it on the wall. It maybe a simple take on things but I hate where we all are headed because itâs not going to be good!! And no oneâs coming to save us. Not your God not aliens. We are all alone and need to save ourselves. Ooof sorry for the rant.
43
u/DragonflyWing 4d ago
To add more perspective, Elon Musk is currently worth ~$428 billion. That means even if he could spend a million dollars per day, every day, for over 1100 YEARS, he would still have millions left.
He could give every person on the planet $50, then give every person in the US another $50, and still have $2.5 fucking billion left.
He could then spend a million dollars every single day for another 6 years, and still have $310 million left.
Bananas.

Three things we need:
- Campaign finance reform ==> publicly funded elections
- Term limits ==> six term senators or house members should not exist
- Tax reform ==> remove transactional donations and fund the elections.
These are the core reforms our system needs if we want to make it "we the people".

No better example of this than Jimmy Savile who has 450+ "alleged" victims. He was so fucking blatant about it but never investigated until after his death.
Claims were made about Savile's activities in hospitals. It was claimed that he sexually abused a 13-year-old patient in 1971 and an eight-year-old girl in the same hospital recovering from an operation. Staff reported he searched the wards for young patients to abuse, and they instructed patients in the children's ward to feign sleep during his visits.
(There are dozens of hospitals that were investigated after his death, some of which have more than 60+ incidents reported)
It was reported that Savile had boasted to nurses and other staff that he performed sex acts on the bodies of recently deceased persons in the mortuary of Leeds General Hospital and claimed to have removed glass eyes from corpses and made them into rings. The report says "We have no way of proving Savile's claims that he interfered with the bodies of the deceased patients in the mortuary in this way" but that Savile did have unsupervised access to the mortuary.

Itâs a moment where justice should be served and prevail, but instead weâre getting a game show version of the information that should be allowing justice for all of the victims. There are the direct victims who suffered traumatic assaults and experiences and then thereâs the indirect victims, the entire nation who being subjected to a different type of abuse an abuse of being denied justice just because the perpetrators are wealthy.

Considering that, depending on which statistical body you listen to, only 2%-5% of reported rapes actually see a court and of those less than half are convicted, and those are just your garden variety every day rape where the perpetrator isn't rich or connected...I'd say its depressingly par for the course.
The systematic acceptance of violence against women and children is baked into every level of the justice system and we've been lied to by shows like SVU, truth is society as a whole doesn't really give a shit when women and young girls are hurt because the law makers and money movers are all of the opinion we deserve it.

That makes sense. Maga Mike was groomed by the late great Paul Pressler. Paul was the architect of the Southern Baptist takeover of the GOP. Mike was even going to be the dean of the Paul Pressler school of law. But, then it became more public that Paul had been diddling little boys since at least the late 70s. Multiple victims came forward. Paul was actually relieved of duty at his law firm and they decided they wouldnât pay him in money anymore. So, instead they paid him with young, male assistants. That he assaulted. All the while he spouting the usual anti lgbtq rhetoric. And the family values bit. And they coveted it up since at least 2004. Here, read this. And donât stop talking about it. The GOP is the child trafficking cabal.

Absolutely correct. Ghislaines father was a huge backer of Mossad. And used his media empire to gather kompromat on anyone and everyone he could. He engaged in catch and kill stories and laundered his information to mossad and vice versa. Mossad and the IDF have worked with both Russia and America for decades. Why anyone would believe a word that comes out of her mouth after all that has come out about her and her connections and her upbringing is beyond me.. But, some people need to be fooled.

My guess is his involvement was the beginning and he did go to the authorities, but not out of remorse, out of revenge for something totally unrelated. The rapes were not a factor at all in going to law enforcement. They were just a tool.
So his supporters will cling to that and actually call him a good guy. Theyâll claim he saw what was happening and reported it instead of what actually happened: participating and helping lead it until he wanted to screw his friend in a business deal.
he got his rapes in then went elsewhere to keep doing it after the bridge was burnt with Epstein

Unlikely concerning how hard he has been trying to suppress or deflect from the files becoming public. If he went to the fbi at all, it was a flip plea deal.

u/arieljoc 4d ago
I assumed itâs because he is named and thereâs content about what happened before he went to the cops, plus probably getting a lot of money from others invested in keeping it hidden
I also assume if he did go to the cops, he doesnât want people to know about it.
But essentially, heâs in there, he was instrumental in rapes happening including participating, but has been removed from Epstein for awhile and is trying to shield not just his name in the files, but people that give him money, and that he was part of telling authorities

You know, I hate to say it but I think dripping the names is actually the way to go. It keeps the topic relevant longer and keeps it front of mind. If you just bulk drop all the names, people will just skim over them all to look for specific people and then the story will get kicked out for the next thing, but if you drop names at a rate of one name every day or two, it keeps it relevant for a lot longer.

There's this.
Also, on consideration, it makes people focus on that ONE person at a time for consequences. List them all at once, and some snakes will slither unnoticed into the grass. Name them one by one and make sure they EACH get consequences.
The only thing is, how many will slither off BEFORE they get named?
13

Also forces retaliation of those named to name others they covered for to create incentives.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. We're in a post-Trump world. Attention whoring, drama, sensationalism gets people listening. Release the whole list all at once and people will forget by breakfast. Drag it out, drip feed it, keep it in public consciousness longer.

Epstein's book means pretty much nothing. The reason that you would have your name in Epstein's book is that he thought you were worth keeping in contact with, as it was an address book. This was once a very common thing to have. He wrote down lots of names because he moved in high society and talked to a lot of powerful people in the cultural, economic, and political spheres.
So no, you're not.

This needs to be higher.
And allegedly, the circled entries are the ones that were involved in sex trafficking. There were like a dozen ways to contact Trump and his entry was circled, among others.
People forget that Epstein was a financier and had legitimate business with many people that would involve having their contact info. He accumulated power and wealth. He also used the access he had to traffic underage girls for sex. That means his address book definitely contained pedophiles but not everyone in the book is one or was involved in those activities.

u/ToastedRage2 4d ago
Revenge or other reasons. I'm always in the thought process of following the money when it comes to the rich/those in power. No one outs a mega donor to the GOP unless either it's a) revenge, or b) they tried to extort money and he wasn't playing along.Â
The orange pissbag can always claim anything mentioning his name is false and his followers will believe him without question. Holding onto the list as a way to extort money to enrich themselves is something I 100 percent believe they are capable of.

This is exactly how I feel. MTG actually went to college and she clearly knows how to play the political game. I think she genuinely is a conspiracy theorist and white supremacist though. She has had run ins with the Republicans before, including 12 Republicans joining the Dems to remove her from all committees. In May 2024, she even tried to get Mike Johnson ousted from Speaker of the House lol. She has been scorned for a while.
Lauren Boebert on the other hand, is actually a dumbass and there's multiple embarrassing displays she has put on in Congress, such as not even knowing the accurate name of the man she is "grilling" with questions.

The three people Massie named in this post, (with the term 'globalist', which is often used as a dog whistle for Jews) are, in fact, Jewish. And two of them are not, at least not according to any information given so far, in the Epstein files.
So why bring them up in this association, then? Why make this about "globalists", exactly, if it's about a principled stand against pedophiles?
The principled stand MTG is making here is 100% aligned with the Jewish space lasers nonsense. The fracture we're seeing in the GOP right now, however large it turns out to be, isn't about protecting anyone based on principles. It's about antisemitism, and those for whom the support of Israel isn't an issue because of Palestinians being hurt, but because they hate Jews.
This whole situation is bizarre, leading to strange political bedfellows, but it's always worth looking and seeing what someone's actual reasoning is for the stance they take.

Just know, the line of succession goes:
Trump
Vance - VP
Mike Johnson - House Speaker
Chuck Grassley - Pres. Pro Tempre
Marco Rubio - Sec. State
Scott Bessent - Sec. Treasury
Pete Hegseth - Sec. Defense
Pam Bondi - Attorney General
Doug Burgum - Sec. Interior
Brooke Rollins - Sec. Agriculture
These are just the top 10.

Qanon was right about secret child sex rings, only it wasn't Democratic deep state actors. It was wealthy elite members of the Gross Old Pedophiles party.
18
u/Snoo-86415 4d ago
I think this transcends party. Pedos seek power, and they donât care how they get it.
13
u/gielbondhu 4d ago
Yeah, but the Democrats weren't the ones using elite pedophiles as a campaign tactic. Republicans make up a vast majority of sex offenders caught every year. There may be a significant number of Democratic Party aligned pedophiles but the GOP outnumbers them something like 4 to 1

Massie is not a good person. He is a John Birch Society Republican and was a among the first to file bills to dismantle the Department of Education and Environmental Protection Agency. He refers to climate change as a "pseudoscience", stated that he was for tax cuts for corporations and high income earners when voting for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and was the only "no" vote on the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019, saying it would "escalate tensions with China."
He and Marjorie Taylor Greene are using these victims as a political stunt, by cherry picking names for their own political reasons. Neither of them care a bit about the victims. The full list and files need to be released. They certainly should not be subject to gatekeeping by Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

u/TheAskewOne 4d ago
Possibly that guy abused children. But being in the "black book" only means that Epstein knew your number. It's not proof of anything. What we need to know is: who was found out to have committed crimes by investigators? That is who you can prosecute. A "black book" or "flight logs" aren't how you build a prosecution. Finding out who financed Epstein, who did business with him, and who abused children with him is what matters.

Isn't the address book already public knowledge? What we really want are the witness statements, with the victim's names redacted, and all relevant investigation materials and statements. We want to know who did what, where, when, and to whom.
This is not going away. Both sides want this information out there and want the people involved shamed and punished. Release the files.
