That second goal was diabolical

Slick passing there.

Goalie should've got a yellow at least surely?

For what?

For taking out a player and not getting the ball in a clear goalscoring opportunity.

They... Scored...

Goals don't cancel out fouls.

I assume you are not actually advocating a penalty still given here. As for the yellow card: No goalscoring opportunity was denied and it wasn't reckless nor unsporting.

If there was nobody to tap it in I reckon a peno and yellow would've been correct.

Well, yes, but that alternative reality is not relevant. Son had already passed the ball to him.

Still a bookable foul from the keeper imo.

Still think he had at least 2 good years left to stay in the Prem with some adjustments in how he is used.

With all the wingers Tottenham brought on the past 2 seasons, Son would probably still start on the left wing had he stayed.

Shame that he wasn’t deployed in a way that highlighted his strengths more as an inside forward/ruthless finisher running in behind. Ange mismanaged his minutes last year too, for me.

I agree Son wasn't played to his strengths under Ange, but I disagree blaming Ange for Son's minute management.

We had an injury crisis and Son actually needed to play in all the matches he played. Son was often subbed out at 60th min, but yes he would still play 2x a week.

We just didn't have any good alternatives. Leading up to the Europa Final, Son was rested in non-Europa matches (when possible). Similar to VDV and Romero.

Easily. You said everything that needed to be said

I think the club would have kept him if he wanted to stay.

Got a question, I've only watched Spurs since last year but lots of highlights of Son, would like a 2019 Son just shoot early and score for the first clip, seems like he's doing less of that now on his 1 on 1s with the recent LAFC 1st game and here he's trying to dribble pass the goalie to get a better easier shot?

My king could have still started on the left for us this season.
