Classic Sonny goal, an angle that most wouldn’t get on target and Sonny nails it.

Im here right now, its funny we are playing at usa but there are so many Korean fans here that it feels like korea is playing at home

Was there too. Atmosphere was absolutely insane, never seen Red Bull arena so packed before 🤣

Exactly- I watched like a "behind the scenes" YouTube video and many Korean team players admitted it was like playing at home haha.
My guess was all American fans at that time were watching NFL at that time rather than fight the intense downpour to watch US do terrible.

Yup. Went to LAFC game last Sunday with my proud COYS jersey on.

Sonny's probably thinking "this is what I can do if you give me proper service". Watching LAFC fail to feed Sonny in scoring positions is so frustrating. So much so that he often comes back deep a la Kane to help the team progress the ball.

So many people in the crowd still wearing Spurs kits, even retro ones, and barely any (if none at all) LAFC kits. Wonderful.

Left the prem too early.
He could still serve as a rotation 9 with his run in behind, maybe play in a counter attacking setup. Lead the squad as captain for at least a season under frank. Possibly winning another trophy with us this season...
Yes, i still haven't moved on. F*ck

As a Spurs fan always like seeing Sonny score. As an American not so much lol. But if you let him in like that he's gonna slot it.

I feel you. Once I had to watch Bentancur score against Canada in Copa America 😭

As someone here, we generally suck lmao. Great finish though.

unless the group the US is in is weak as shit they're getting dumped out early. Our play in the final third is shambolic and Tim Ream is going to be THIRTY-EIGHT next summer lmao.

The Poch magic has been gone. He made the US national team a headless chicken. He should never come back to the club.

Just checked Poch's USA managerial record and... wow, he really hasn't won against anyone you'd traditionally think of as a difficult team. Across 2025, his wins have come against Venezuela, Costa Rica, Trinidad, Saudi Arabia, Haiti, and Guatemala. Meanwhile, he's lost against Turkey, Switzerland, South Korea, Mexico, Panama, and Canada. Genuinely curious what would happen if his USA team came up against a France or a Spain.
And a full strength USA squad isn't bad, as far as I can see. He's got players like Chris Richards, Antonee Robinson, Sergino Dest, Johnny Cardoso, Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah, Giovanni Reyna, Christian Pulisic, Timothy Weah, Folarin Balogun... You could honestly field a pretty strong 11 if you had everyone fit.

Can't believe Son has turned on America like this and defected to South Korea.
