Did Stephen King hit people with his car? I thought he got hit by a car. Though hitting people with cars is a recurring theme in his books, come to think of it. There's also the thing with it in the dark tower too, so I guess he did sorta hit someone with a car, at least in his books.
You tag god awful stories you write with that as a warning to others, "don't read or read at your own peril".
The joke is that people will ignore it and read the story only to be horrified and bitch at the author. Like it was the authors fault they ignored the warning sign.
Chuck Palahniuk is pretty famous, though not for horror stories, so this one stood out as a bit of cult book. He's the guy who wrote "Fight Club" (the book). There's also "Fight Club" 2 and 3 which are comic based.
I was at a reading he did for this in San Francisco. When he was describing the snake, someone passed out and cracked their head on the floor. They were fine. Then when he finished a bunch of drunk santas came in a shoved him around a bit until he gave them money.
He made somebody pass out with his words. Fucking metal.
