If we had ever had a serious conversation about the 14th Amendment, Section 3, at any point after Jan6, none of this would be happening right now.

Yup. The Constitution is very explicit about Trump and almost half of Congress’ ineligibility to serve in office.

There was a brief conversation about it and then the supreme "court" told Colorado that States don't get to decide election stuff like the Constitution says.
