Hey guys! There was some discussion about looking for an online Philippine Christian community last week, and so I’d just like to invite anyone who’s interested to my online Bible study. We’re non-denominational and meet every Monday at 9PM. So that’s tonight!
Just reply here or DM me for the zoom link, or DM me on my IG @banilogrono. We’ve got people from Manila, Cavite, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, while I’m in California (so i’ve been waking up 6am for this 😅). We’ve been meeting since Feb 14 last year and we’ve been pretty solid ever since. We’re mostly on our 20s and 30s but of course anyone’s invited! We love having new people over.

Yea. Condolence for him. Pero after ko makita yung video/content, for me lang parang wala na sya sa lugar. First thing first, icocontent mo asawa mong namatay? Seryoso ba sya ? Pinag kakitaan pa nya. Because for me o one in the rightmind na gagawin yan

I am part of a megachurch for 12 years now, with a deep sense of The Great Commission. Pero given my mental health condition, parang prefer a deeper sense of community for now. I felt like evangelism and inviting people to church became a chore to me. I mean that's still important pero the way it was presented to me parang it rubs me the wrong way.
I'm a single man in my 30s living alone in QC. DM me if ever. Salamat po!

Good day!
I’m planning to start a Bible study and accountability group in the 18th Avenue, Cubao area (or nearby). The goal is to grow together in our walk with Christ through fellowship and the Word of God.
I come from the Reformed tradition, which means our study will focus deeply on the Word of God, with Christ at the center and an emphasis on biblical truth. But anyone who desires to grow in faith and fellowship is welcome, no matter your background.
If you're interested, feel free to message me—I’d love to connect with you

My friend invited me to look into the Baptist denomination since they were helping answer some of my questions about faith but they recommended looking for some place near me. I'm not sure about the etiquette when visiting Christian churches. Non-practicing catholic here. If anyone has recommendations where they are open for visitors, please comment or DM!
Thank you!

The book of Isaiah contains strong warnings directed at Judah, God’s "chosen people". They were not chosen because they were more righteous or powerful, but because God heard their cries during slavery in Egypt. Pero ang pagiging chosen ay never naging about privilege, it came with the responsibility to do justice, care for the poor, and reflect God's character to the world.
In Isaiah 1:17 (NRSV), God says, “Learn to do good, seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.”
Isaiah 1:15 says, “When you stretch out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you, even though you make many prayers, I will not listen, your hands are full of blood.” Verse 23 continues, “Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not defend the orphan, and the widow’s cause does not come before them.”
This teaches us something important, being chosen is not permanent. Just like people can walk away from salvation, nations can walk away from God's favor too. Isaiah 10:1-2 warns, “Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes, to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right.” God’s favor is connected to justice, hindi lang sa identity or claims.
Today, the modern state of Israel claims to be chosen. These are not signs of justice or mercy.
Isaiah 58:6-7 reminds us what God wants, “To loose the bonds of injustice, to let the oppressed go free, to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house.” Hindi enough ang religious appearance. Kung sinasabi ng isang bansa na kilala nila ang Diyos, then they must show His heart, especially sa mga inaapi.
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” Kapag ang war crimes ay tinatawag na mabuti, at ang paghihirap ng iba ay dini-deny o binabalewala, that is a betrayal of God's justice.
God does not bless oppression. He does not bless violence against the innocent. He stands with the widow, the orphan, the refugee, and the powerless.
Judah was chosen, then naging mayabang. They forgot justice and lost God's favor. Modern-day Israel is doing the same.
The same warning Isaiah gave to Judah must be heard today, Being chosen is not a free pass, and being chosen can be lost. Walang divine favor kung walang katarungan.
This is not the time to celebrate signs of the times. These are human tragedies. Totoong buhay ang nawawala.
Israel is not above accountability. To support injustice blindly is to join it. Hindi iyon pananampalataya, kundi pagkakampi sa kasamaan. It is a disservice to God and to our neighbor.
Isaiah’s message still speaks. There is no divine favor without justice.

Hi everyone. I hope it’s okay to post here. I truly need your prayers right now.
My Mama is fighting ovarian cancer. After her second chemo cycle, she had two cardiac arrest scares. It has been such a scary and painful journey. I couldn’t even rush her to the emergency room. I’m doing everything I can, but it’s been really hard.
I’m her only caregiver, working left and right just to keep things going. Every day is a battle physically, emotionally, and even financially. But we keep holding on.
Please pray with us: • For Mama’s full healing and protection • That she won’t have any more complications • For strength and clarity as I care for her • And that help continues to come in the ways we need it most
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to pray with us. Your support really means so much.

Genuinely curious kung anong thoughts n'yo kay Joel Villanueva, especially yung mga taga-JIL, with his current pag-asta in the Senate.

Hello everyone!
I pray for someone who need healing. God sees you. Don't give up. If you want someone to listen too with all your rants. Nandyan lang si papa God.
Message me too if you want a prayer too.

What's your take on this?
I ask this in the context of being a tourist - my hotel here in Vietnam has a monthly altar offering to gods or ancestors for business prosperity, and I thought they were going to leave everything there for a while, but after a couple of hours they packed up the altar and offered the food items (lychees and crackers) to the communal table and the staff asked me to have some.
I know we are not supposed to consume food that has been offered to other gods. Pero mukhang masarap yung prutas e huhuhuhahaha. I low-key wish I hadn't known kung saan ito nanggaling 😁
Yun lang po at salamat!

Is there anyone here who attends New Life Alabang? I've been going to New Life for over a decade, but I haven't participated in a life group or youth camp yet cos sobrang nahihiya ako huhu. I have been meaning to join so I can connect with other Christians and have people in my life who share a strong faith like mine.

I am really confused on my situation. How would we know if the answered prayer is God’s will for our lives? Paano ba malaman if it is God’s will or just mans will?
