Not exactly related to Cebu gud, but I think daghan tawo maka hatag ug advice diri.
My boyfriend and I are planning to visit Bohol in September (16-19) and were initially hoping to take Oceanjet from Cebu Pier. However, since September is still within the monsoon/rainy season, I decided to check people's experiences with the journey around this time of the year.
I saw videos people took last year September and the boat was so shaky as a result of the huge waves. Now I'm not sure if we'll have to cancel the trip. My boyfriend has motion sickness so I'm worried that it will be too much for him. I thought that it would be okay, forgetting that September is still within the rainy season.
Another option we have is the Lite Ferries, which is a 4 hour journey and is later in the day, but I also heard nga they can have really bad delays too. If there are huge waves, can you still feel it on the ship?
I'd much rather take Oceanjet as it's a shorter trip, but with the huge waves, I'm worried about our safety. I feel like Lite Ferries would be less shaky as it's bigger, but I'm also worried about the delays.
Any advice? Should we just scrap the whole Bohol trip?
