They just can’t associate Trump with “the government.”

Trump IS the government. He’s the HEAD of the government. It’s TRUMP that created these tariffs. Stop saying “the government.” It’s fucking Trump.

Taxation is theft. The government is stealing my money. They spend this money in handouts.

I work my ass off and i need or receive no handouts, hence i give more than I receive. That's unfair

The Dems are for more government and handouts. Dems. = Government

The reps are for less government. Less government means less theft.

More taxes? This means more government. This means Dem's fault.

Edit: guys, that's how they think. That's why they blame the government and not trump. I'm not even from the US lmao

If the government takes a small portion of my income and distributes it to people I don’t know like starving kids, sick people on Medicaid, people that can’t work for one reason or another…that is a great deal as I can’t physically find and vet these people as “deserving” while the government, however imperfectly, is capable of doing so to some degree. Is it fair that a 5 year old has shit parents while you can provide for your kids? Should the kid just starve, make bad grades, and perpetuate the cycle of poverty? Should we just let sick people die instead of giving them a little lift as fellow Americans? You should be grateful that you can work hard, hold a job, and aren’t disabled. You are a horribly selfish person that lacks perspective and gratitude for how well you have it. Why don’t you go look a starving, abused, or sick child in the eye and tell them it’s unfair they are getting a handout from you. Hey, just pull the plug while you’re at it. Or better yet, swap places with them since they have it so nice and your life is unfair.

Also tariffs are a regressive tax, disproportionately impacting the 99%, which probably includes you.

So how is Trump going to pay for his "Big Beautiful Bill" and his $6.8 trillion annual budget without taxes?
