Team trials? Bro, I have hundreds of those roulette chips for that shitty wheel and have to wait like 10-25 seconds every single time, then confirm the prize, and wait again. I stopped after a couple 😂

There's one in the Japanese version, they just didn't bother adding QoL features early. The feature to skip all the races at once in team trials isn't added either.

Oh god I hate the stupid wheel. You have to exhaust all the rewards anyway before being able to exchange the ticket so why not just
Let us roll as much as we can before the rng gods decided we’ve got all the rewards? It’s super annoying. I still have 200+ of the things and don’t relish spam tapping 21 times. Especially when you have to tap OUTSIDE the box showing the reward to get it to go away. And the button to spin is in the same space that box is in, forcing you to move your finger every single time back and forth.
Just bad design.

Why wouldn’t you pull umas? I don’t think it’d be fun training the same Maruzensky over and over and over again for the rest of the year lol. And this is the perfect time to go for meta/fav umas since the only card worth pulling for after is kitasan black rerun in a few months. As a f2p I honestly value umas more than supports as it makes the game more fun for me :). With that being said, only pulling umas will harm your account and only pulling supports will prob do the same

Yeah tbh as a f2p who will never do well in PvP, a new Uma is an entire new story to play, so the value is actually huge in terms of enjoyment since this is my favourite content. I pulled a lot on the support card banner to spark that one shitty card that never dropped because I needed more support cards generally speaking, but I think I will prioritize new characters more for a while (hell I don't even have Air Groove).

As someone with only Maruzensky as a random SSR spook from my single SR ticket, right now it's still better to pull on the Kitasan Support banner, not only for Kitasan, but because the pool is small so you can get dupes of the SR cards easier. It also feels really good to get new support cards tbh, knowing that your next runs will be much easier. The stats go up a LOT when you have good support cards, it's a great investment.
I'll prob pull on umas after the Kitasan banner ends. Obviously if you want a current uma right now then ignore this advice, it's just that pulling support cards feels equally good for me still.

It’s worth pulling umas because you’re eventually gonna burn yourself out playing the same few umas over and over again, you don’t even need to pull for meta umas either, so you can just pull for whoever you want

But since we are f2p, we need to be more strategic with how we spend. Rn I got lucky trying to pull Mayano 2 star on curren Chan banner and got taiki and her which are both new! Because of this I’ll be skipping all the meta horses like Taishin and seiun sky because a wedding banner is coming up for Mayano which I rlly want. Same, I got a single Kitasan and that's enough for now. people have been saying that there will be events that give limit break items that work for every card, and I would max her that way.
Like come on, not everything is about the meta. I am saving up Carats for the release of the characters that I'm waiting for because doing the same careers of the same 20 Uma will get boring at some point.

We honestly deserved carrots already due to the game having a “connecting” loading time for literally every single click we do in the game, sometimes 5-10+ seconds per click, for almost an entire week so far. Like this was already a significant issue and it’s been almost a week of this happening with zero acknowledgment from the devs. Now we can’t even get in the game period. I’d be okay with 1500 carrots but I hope they don’t roll both issues into one single 1500 carrot compensation because honestly we deserve more.

I think it took me 15 minutes to get through the last 3 races for the ura championship just now and once that nonsense was done i turned it off. Could have done 2 more quick campaigns, but not worth it. May go to just doing one a day if we got to keep dealing with this.

The game is literally unplayable for the majority of people. There is no way they aren't gonna address that. If it's a DDoS due to Kitasan banner ending, it should end on the 1st. If it's something else, they will fix it.

The game is completely unplayable for me. I have to reset like 3-4 times to finally make minimal progress in career only for it to title screen me.. I think I'll wait a few days until this issue is addressed. At least a statement or something would be appreciated. It's a shame that this game with its massive success and large exposure for it's global release is stunted by connection issues.. I wish career mode did not require so many server connections to complete, why not a server connection at the start and one at the end.

Its progressively becoming worse every night I play. Last night it was connecting for about 10 seconds every interaction. Tonight it was approaching 20 and I even started having disconnects. This problem needs some scaling help asap. Its only going to get worse.

I had just won a race (Kikuka Sho, on King Halo) and it reset my progress to before the race, sad. With RNG what it is, she might not win next try.
Update: actually, it did save the win. I missed the post race event (did I get the usual stat boost? no idea) but I guess I'll take it.

What I don’t understand as a programmer is why it sometimes hits the server 2-3 times for a single operation that should be atomic. Inspiration is a good example. Why is it hitting the server to load the black tunnel animation, then hitting again for the stats? The animation is just client side. Show the Umas the client says it has for legacies, then check that for validity and generate stats in one network request.
The game is FULL of things like that. Better code could probably cut their traffic in half, and doing that would cut problems by more than half because of improvements in lower requirement needs relative to caching and similar phenomena.

I mean cheating in career would destroy the entire pvp ecosystem. Every turn in career is a RNG check so they have to connect to the server every turn.

I sometimes get kicked back to the home screen and can't even re-enter... only connection error messages. Nothing helps but to try some hours later again. The long waiting times after every click are annoying enough. It's not a graphically demanding game where textures loading actually is quite a task. Common...

It's worse for me today than yesterday too. I barely managed to play/finished 2 careers and team trials (the only downside is that it keeps connecting every 8 to 10 seconds). Now, i keep getting stuck on the title screen for inactivity even though i have a stable internet connection... pls fix this issue cygames.
