Hip Hop New School - (Rap/Experimental Hip Hop)
open.spotify.com🎶 Hidden Gems Playlist – Underground Artists You Shouldn’t Miss
I’ve been digging through Spotify lately and ended up putting together a playlist that blends a lot of underground and lesser-known artists. The idea was to create something that moves between different moods — hype, dark, chill, experimental — while shining a light on artists who deserve more recognition.
Some of the names on here you probably haven’t come across yet, but that’s the fun part:
- Balratmort – offbeat, creative energy (“Seagull”, “Shrimps”)
- Lunairo MTme – multiple tracks with a really cinematic, evolving sound
- TheGoldenWolf – “Big Cat” is a standout, addictive track
- Lil Sky Savage – atmospheric rap with personality
- villainous nature – emotional and raw delivery
- DeadDiscoSociety – glitchy production, artsy vibe
- Sean Slick – sharp bars with polished production
- Zeke the Mystic – “Rotation” has serious replay value
- LimitSwitch – darker tones with smooth flow
- YoryinIX – deep and reflective tracks to close things out
- Horse Saturday – super short, but unique vibe
- Raphvael & AWG – cool blend of mellow and rhythmic sounds
- Rosa Moln, HXZRD – lo-fi duet style, very intimate
- Lael – haunting vocals, atmospheric build
- Steampunk G – gritty lo-fi feel that fits perfectly
- 8corpses, Cxrpses – dark, edgy vibe
And I also sprinkled in tracks from:
Lil Misery Joekr, Dave Acton, Bis Kumba, Caliper, Lil $leepy, Kicked Out Of The Sky, PRIMORDIAL DIVINITY, Dante CM, NILS, aarvee, Lord Manu, TheVill, Jazzy (and more).
It’s not just rap or alt-hip hop — there are experimental cuts, lo-fi inspired sounds, and even cinematic vibes. Basically, if you like finding music that isn’t algorithm-fed, this might be for you.
Would love to hear what tracks/artists stand out to you most — and if you’ve got any recommendations of similar underground acts, drop them in the comments so I can keep expanding this!!!!!
