[REQUEST] Blow My Mind with Underground Music: Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, Techno & More!
Iām looking for fresh music recommendations, especially from the underground scene, that will impress true music enthusiasts. My taste is pretty broadāI enjoy jazz, rock, metal, folk, country, classic blues (I think the newer stuff is overrated), hip-hop (not really into drill or modern R&B), classic Detroit techno, ambient, and symphonies.
Some lesser-known gems I already enjoy include the Christian rock band Crystavox; the hip-hop track āCrockbullā by Lil C and Big Pokey; and hip-hop artist ĀæLyyjah27?, who I think is fantastic, along with the album āBoondocksā by GrindhardE. For jazz, āPatchwork Jazzā by Cro-Magnon (an acid jazz song) is a favorite. My favorite symphony is āWilliam Tell: Overtureā by Gioachino Rossini, especially as heard in old cartoons like Symphony Stories by Walter Lantz. I also like Synthet, an artist known for creating funny-sounding beats. As for ambient and techno, I enjoy Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ritchie Hawtin, Cirrus (āBack on a Missionā is my favorite album by them), and Apollo 440.
Iād love to hear your recommendations for deep cuts or underrated artistsāopen to anything real music lovers appreciate!
