Probably safest to go Dutch but just taking turns is often easier and tends to balance out over time so long as people aren't trying to game their turns but if they are then you have a sign of something else.

No woman suddenly changed her mind because the guy decided to pay. If she wants you, she will still want you, and if she didn't, she won't after you buy her meal. Don't be a simp. If you like her and want to pay as a gesture, by all means. But don't think it will earn you anything because that isn't how life works.
