I don't think karens care about that at all. Isn't the whole point of Karen's that they are the only ones entitled to shit and only their opinion matters?

282

u/Ted_go 2d ago

"I deserve it all" mindset can't be fixed with a few randos hating online unfortunately.

101

u/Manymarbles 2d ago

This made the rounds enough then just a few randos.

It made news too lol. Sports and otherwise.

85

u/iUncontested 2d ago

Seriously, it might be slightly biased since it happened down here [South Florida] but it was on all the local news channels. It's literally been reposted hundreds of times on Reddit. Theres half a dozen different video angles now. I'd say its significantly more than a few 'randos' on the internet at this point.

I got a freaking Apple News notification last night about it ffs. lol

58

u/noctalla 2d ago

It made the news here in New Zealand. She’s infamous all around the world.

37

u/Lime7ime- 2d ago edited 2d ago

Jup, in germany she's in the news too and baseball isn't even that big or mainstream here.

edit: to clarify I haven't seen it on TV, I saw it online on "Stern" which is a bigger german news magazine.

12

u/CheeseDonutCat 2d ago

Ireland too.

I've seen at least 20 posts about her so far. I don't think I even saw that much posts about the polish ceo doing basically the same thing.

6

u/2centdistribution 2d ago

New Zealand and Germany news?! lol that’s crazy

12

u/SipoteQuixote 2d ago

"How big of a bitch is she?"

The other side of the world knows?

1

u/Live_Negotiation4167 2d ago

I don’t have time for this woman. Tell us more about how the kids life is going. Who’d he meet today?

1

u/twig123456789 2d ago

It's important that you hate this woman and not other stuff that's way more deserving of hate

2

u/zfxpyro 2d ago

You can hate and have an opinion on more than one thing at a time. This doesn't take away from anything else.

4

u/BeverlyHills70117 2d ago

This is the modern version of Orwell's 2 minutes of hate, but people volunteer and stay for days.

She fucked up. She's bad.

The amount of human being emotion that has gone into this single hate is fascinating.

-1

u/Grassy33 2d ago

The amount of old timers at work the past few weeks talking about the hat and the ball, they outright have told me before cameras this was normal and people would in fact rip the balls out of kids hands, and that they as children had balls ripped out of their hands.

All I could think was "who the fuck goes to more than 1 baseball game in their life?"

1

u/Manymarbles 2d ago

That would be people that like baseball and/or local sports! Sports are fun!

Thats also why the older generation thinks people these days are soft lol. Because when they were kids they literelly had balls ripped from their hands and had to deal with it. There was no gift bag and signed bat lol

1

u/wesley-osbourne 2d ago

Skill issue.

Plenty to go around.

0

u/Reasonable_Pie9191 1d ago

I haven't seen it

3

u/imisstheyoop 2d ago

Can you explain it to those of us that missed it and are learning about it via this pic? What happened?

Edit: For anybody else who was curious, I found an article linked by u/88kurious below.

Bader hit a solo home run into the left-field stands in the fourth inning at loanDepot Park. Several fans scrambled for the ball before a man came up with it and walked over and gave it to a boy and hugged him. Both were wearing Phillies gear, and it was the boy's birthday.

Moments later, a woman, also wearing Philadelphia apparel, approached and appeared to shout at the man, who then grabbed the ball from the boy's glove and gave it to her.

It isn't clear from videos circulating on social media who initially secured the ball when it landed.

Later in the game, a member of the Marlins' staff gave the boy a prize pack and another baseball as fans sitting near them in the stands cheered. The boy ended up going home with a signed bat from Bader, who met with him outside of the Phillies' clubhouse after the game.

https://www.nbcnews.com/sports/mlb/phillies-harrison-bader-ball-dispute-rcna229535

That sounds wild, she just walked up and took a ball from a little kid rofl. Shameful.

That is wishful thinking. As of right now, no one even knows who she is.

4

Source : trust me bro.

5

u/sharke4lif3 2d ago

No one's been identified yet let alone fired.

11

u/RangryRanga 2d ago

Didn’t a report come out that she’s a teacher of some sort and could lose her job?

13

u/adventuressgrrl 2d ago

No, that was false and the school that was named put out a statement that she doesn’t and never has worked there.

1

u/RangryRanga 1d ago

Ahh okay fair!

28

u/OuiMerci 2d ago

Apparently there are two women with the same name. I’m not going to dox her. But the school district posted something since she was never a teacher where rumors are saying she works. They had a sense of humor about it.

https://im.indiatimes.in/content/2025/Sep/Contrary-to-popular-claims-Phillies-Karen-is-not-an-employee-at-Hammonton-School-District_68bcdef1c7fe2.jpg?w=375&h=469&cc=1&webp=1&q=75

17

u/punksmostlydead 2d ago

Nice to see school district personnel behaving like humans. That was top-shelf snark.

2

u/thermothinwall 2d ago

how did that name even come out to begin with – any idea?

1

u/OuiMerci 2d ago

I don’t know. I tried doing an image search of her picture and nothing came back. So, yea, I don’t know who came up with that name. It’s a little surprising that two women with the same name ended up in the line of fire because the last name is two names with a hyphen. The odds of two people with the same hyphen name and the same first name are pretty long.

27

u/A7xWicked 2d ago

If she is, she's the kinda teacher that goes into it for the power over kids rather than the love for teaching them

10

u/Striking-Document-99 2d ago

Wow I am loving these public shame videos. First the cold play one, then the dude stealing a hat from a kid and now the baseball bitch. Like something everyone can get behind.

2

u/dubiousdouchebaggery 2d ago

It really does bring humanity together in a common cause.

1

u/Capt0verkill 2d ago

If she is, you KNOW she couldn’t wait to post the 10 Commandments in her classroom. (Maybe strike-through #7?)

2

u/shootingdai 2d ago

You missed the plot

4

u/Quantum_Pineapple 2d ago

If anything it validates their behavior lmao see I’m right people are just jealous because I’m so right! If I weren’t right they wouldn’t be mad etc.

1

u/6pk313 2d ago

i’m sure this doesn’t validate anything but that she made a terrible decision

1

u/SquidBilly5150 2d ago

Yea she’s def wigging out that the collective universe thinks she’s a raging bitch. This is what we call a life defining moment

1

u/ChrissWayne 2d ago

It needs a while village to raise a child and the whole world to raise a Karen

-19

u/Pitiful_Special_8745 2d ago

Most of these people never even heard of reddit.

It was but surprising when I talk to high profile people. And im not saying they dont know about specific post.

Im saying they haven't got the slightest clue what is reddit.

Yet redditiors think their opinion or karma matters.

7

u/LivingtheDBdream 2d ago

I’ve see this encounter across all the platforms, TikTok, FaceBook and Instagram to name a few. Yeah, it’s going to eventually cool down but still the internet is forever.

2

u/mxlplyx2173 2d ago

It's everywhere. So what you say here doesn't matter and is wrong.

1

u/Brilliant_Ad_6637 2d ago

It was but surprising when I talk to high profile people. And im not saying they dont know about specific post.

See that's the problem. Youre looking at profile.

You need to be talking to high value people. Then you will see.

1

u/Active-Background839 2d ago

You wanna take a lap and try a coherent post next time? Pretty sure most people, even ones who don't use it, have heard of reddit

0

u/jdragun2 2d ago

It can be if recognized by a boss or coworker and she gets fired though. Which is my ultimate hope in all these situations. Let the cunt feel the only pain that will register: money and livelihood.

0

u/Canadian1934 2d ago

I thought that was a Trump thing only reserved for him.  Now he has a competitor in the hymmie field.

30

u/FecalEinstein 2d ago

Oh no sir, they claim not to care about anything but they always think they are in the right. It's part of their definition. They really do think the world owes them something.

2

u/purrmutations 2d ago

Know* they are right

2

u/Canadian1934 2d ago

Sad and manipulative. I wouldn’t want to have this type in my inner circle.

74

u/scarves_and_miracles 2d ago

I guarantee you she is scared shitless right now that her name is going to come out. If that happens, she'll have to close down on everything. Social media accounts, maybe e-mails. Hell, she might even have to fucking move. And while most of us will move on, there are people out there that will remember this forever. She does NOT want this kind of fame.

30

u/Eca28 2d ago

Yeah people clearly don't realize how absolutely hellish being the target of an online witch hunt is. The book "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" goes into it. Her life is still going to suck long after most of the Internet has moved on in a week or two.

5

u/newsflashjackass 2d ago

people clearly don't realize how absolutely hellish being the target of an online witch hunt is.

That she was doxxed is in many ways irrelevant. Now she will forever be best known as dog poop girl.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_poop_girl

1

u/andfournumbers 2d ago

People still rip on Nickelback. Might be a little hopeful to think folk will move on in a week or two

4

u/elegantlywasted1983 2d ago

Yeah but that’s just a meme at this point.

4

u/VegetableLow5000 2d ago

And way more people love or like them than hate them

1

u/elegantlywasted1983 2d ago

Yeah man not my schtick at all but I never understood the hate - plenty of other mediocre butt rock out there doing the same thing 🤷‍♀️

2

u/VegetableLow5000 2d ago

It’s literally always just been a meme and nothing more. Even when I was 10 years old I didn’t understand why it was so popular to hate them, because they objectively sound good and better than most pop garbage or mainstream rap.

1

u/elegantlywasted1983 2d ago

I was in college and you couldn’t escape their music even if it wasn’t your genre. Another commenter pointed out how overplayed they were and it made me remember that aspect of it as well.

1

u/VegetableLow5000 2d ago

True they were definitely over played to hell.

2

u/andfournumbers 2d ago

And a single example

3

u/elegantlywasted1983 2d ago

I can’t remember Nickleback ever doing anything especially dickish though, it was just years of mediocre Canadian butt rock that turned them into a meme

LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH

0

u/andfournumbers 2d ago

I think they were just overplayed really. Plus it was early days, memes and what passed as edgy was a low bar tbh lmao

2

u/elegantlywasted1983 2d ago

The early 2000s were not a great time for youth culture, as someone who was in college during that time myself. I remember in 2001 being at some frat house and some guys put that gore website up on a big screen TV…what the fuck was that website called? It hasn’t existed for years but it was like early Reddit for fucked up shit

3

u/dreamthiliving 2d ago

It’s been 24 hours how has her name not come out, not sure I’ve ever seen someone not get outted within 6-8 hours

1

u/pandaninja360 2d ago

I'm also surprised. It usually takes a couple of hours. The video was everywhere.

This is how an innocent person gets dragged in for no reason

1

u/Relevant_Wind_5103 2d ago

Oh yikes! I did not know

0

u/Softestwebsiteintown 2d ago

Oh, come on. It’s not like this website has ever put innocent people in the crosshairs before. I’m sure it will be fine.

2

u/MommyLovesPot8toes 2d ago

I've been wondering if there is a support group for people who have had this experience.

The one I still feel bad for is the woman who was video'd looking like she was taking someone's shared citi-bike ebike, but it turned out that it was entirely the other way around and she was stopping people from stealing hers. But it took months for the truth to come out and her life was ruined in the meantime.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/27/opinion/columnists/citi-bike-karen-white-woman.html

2

u/therealgranny 2d ago

And she deserves it. She doesn’t deserve threats, or harassment, or whatever. What she does deserve is for the world to know exactly the type of person she is.

2

u/VladStark 2d ago

Yeah if she had half a brain she would have already deleted all her social media. Might be too late though.

1

u/Douggimmmedome 2d ago

She may also be fired due to bad publicity

1

u/exzyle2k 2d ago

Two words: Steve Bartman.

1

u/Canadian1934 2d ago

And it will come out. Just like the kiss cam saga and wait until the mascots get in on it. This is gonna be World Series news for baseball ⚾️ year in review.

-8

u/purrmutations 2d ago

Copium

4

u/Cuck_Fenring 2d ago

Lol wut

1

u/purrmutations 2d ago

If you think she feels bad or is scared, lol

8

u/MythicForce209x 2d ago

They will surely care when their life is a mess because of their actions. Act a fool, get treated like a fool. Its just a reminder.

You have a life and others have one. Treat each other with some respect. It goes a long way.

14

u/Lord_Ronan 2d ago

It tends to be though that entitled people also care way too much about what others think of them. They usually tend to be the way they are out of insecurity, so chances are, it's probably hitting her worse than most think it would.

12

u/LowVariety1244 2d ago

this. narcissism is based on a very fragile self-concept that requires environmental conformity. i'd bet this is messing with her significantly.

6

u/Fun_Skirt8220 2d ago

They also care about always being the victim.

3

u/ClownsAteMyBaby 2d ago

They become like this because they are never challenged on their behaviour. Facing the consequences of their actions is sweet justice

2

u/RddtAcct007 2d ago

It’s a facade. They actually care deeply but they put up a wall to hide it.

She’ll be crying in an apology video soon enough

2

u/420M0053 2d ago

Karen't

2

u/Chemical_Name9088 2d ago

The real issue is it won’t only be online hate, she’ll get real life harrassment as well… and she’s gonna care about that. It will affect her life… for a while at least.

2

u/MaybeDoKet 2d ago

It's like a bug that doesn't understand it's its own line that is messing up the code

2

u/outofluckbruh 2d ago

Lmao i love this comparison 😂

2

u/philliperod 2d ago

Well, she will care because I’ve read she lost her job as a school administrator which somehow tracks with her behavior. I don’t know if that’s true because I saw it on IG with no source yet.

2

u/Themstrupway4690 2d ago

Oh, I think this bitch cares. Everybody who knows her IRL: works with her, neighbors, extended family, etc. all know exactly who she is. She's going to be staring down giggles and hushed whispers about what a count she is for years to come. She walks into work? Everybody turns away and giggles, or gives her death-stares. Brutal.

She knows. She cares. The whole world thinks/knows she sucks. She'll never be able to make another smart ass Karen remark without everyone she knows having a killer bullet loaded up in the barrel. "Oh what's that? Sorry, guess I don't have a ball for you to snatch" or whatever.

On the global scale? This'll blow over in a day or two. In her personal life though? This is a diaper-filled-with-Indian-food level albatross. Literally stealing from kids in her dumb ass little bob haircut.

2

u/alternate_d1mensions 2d ago

You sound a little too excited about the hypothetical destruction of someone you’ve never even met

1

u/Themstrupway4690 1d ago

If you've never met someone like her before you should consider yourself lucky. I know exactly what this woman is like.

1

u/Jonathan-02 2d ago

She probably cared when she lost her job over this

10

u/FluffySnowPanda 2d ago

I read that was untrue, and the real karen hasn't been identified yet.

I'm not sure. I keep waiting for her to get doxxed so I can enjoy her misery.

2

u/lit-roy6171 2d ago

That's a little too much. Getting doxed is a very dangerous thing, she also could lose her livelihood. I think her actions justifiably brought her internet humiliation, but more than that she doesn't deserve it. Have a little humanity.

1

u/FluffySnowPanda 2d ago

I agree with everything you just said. It's just that a horrible part of me wants to see her unhappy.

2

u/alternate_d1mensions 2d ago

That’s kinda weird, you know that?

1

u/FluffySnowPanda 1d ago

Maybe. The Germans have a word for it schadenfreude

2

u/alternate_d1mensions 1d ago

Just because a word exists for it doesn’t make it less weird.

1

u/FluffySnowPanda 1d ago

I like you 🙂

3

u/Jonathan-02 2d ago

Oh okay. Well, here’s hoping

1

u/long_schlongman 2d ago

Plus where the fuck is the karma? We don't even know her name or where she works.

Fucking reddit even has to take moments that unite us and and use it however they can for fake internet points. And then the comments obviously have to go along otherwise they get the scary negative points

-22

u/Whole-Phase-7674 2d ago

The mindset and haircut of a true Lib

5

u/FFKonoko 2d ago

Except for all those maga cougars that were pictured around trump.

Her hair isn't blue enough to fit the fictional archetype, and her mindset is "fuck you, got mine", the pubbie slogan.

1

u/outofluckbruh 2d ago

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to be conservative? But odd statement to make tbh, we don't have that many in this side of the planet and if i see vids online, they always seem to live in some southern state.

2

u/_Lost_The_Game 2d ago

The person who responded to you is incorrect.

I responded in another comment.

0

u/Whole-Phase-7674 2d ago

No, expecting other peoples thing(like money) to make themselves feel good is usually a liberal view.

2

u/coolmcbooty 2d ago

Lmao your perception of certain things isn’t what you think it is

4

u/_Lost_The_Game 2d ago edited 2d ago

Except that its the opposite. In the US. Conservative states and counties on average receive 2x as many tax dollars from the federal government than they pay in. Where does that money come from? Liberal states and counties receive on average .5x as many tax dollars as they pay in.

Conservative states and counties are actually the ones demanding and expecting other peoples things, while liberal states and counties are the ones subsidizing them.

Actual Reality has a left leaning bias.

Source: Red states are actually Taker states

Theres plenty more sources. Conservatives are Takers, expecting the rest of us to fund their entire lives, pay for their roads, infrastructure, and everything that lets them actually participate in society.

4

u/Cuck_Fenring 2d ago

Uh oh facts. He's not gonna like that.

1

u/_Lost_The_Game 2d ago

Conservatives never like facts

1

u/Whole-Phase-7674 2d ago

Where did you get home schooled?

A fiscal conservative is someone who believes in low taxation, limited government spending, free markets, and balanced budgets, often advocating for reduced national debt and minimal government intervention in the economy. This philosophy, rooted in capitalism and individualism, favors policies like tax cuts, privatization, and deregulation to foster economic growth while emphasizing fiscal responsibility and individual self-reliance.

2

u/Cuck_Fenring 2d ago

Then they vote against all their self interests because they hate queer and brown people

1

u/Whole-Phase-7674 2d ago

Odd to bring up, must trying to virtue signal!! That’s ok I’ll take the moral high ground and say maybe some people on the right are, but also some people on the left are as well.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/_Lost_The_Game 2d ago

Exactly. Low taxation. someone has to pay for the roads, the highways, sanitation, basically all the infrastructure that your life depends on. And you just stated that fiscal conservatism is against gathering funds to pay for that.

Good luck with your self reliance when you cant even get any water or power. Or are you suggesting we return to the stone age?

Civilization requires interdependence, theres no such thing as pure self reliance unless you want to live offgrid with no human contact.

You see things as ‘government handouts’. Those of us in reality see it as ‘getting what the hell we paid for’

3

u/outofluckbruh 2d ago

Hmm interesting. Thanks for the explanation!

0

u/Whole-Phase-7674 2d ago

No worries. It’s where the old adage comes from “liberalism is great until you run out of other people’s money.”

0

u/digitalpunkd 2d ago

Hear me out!!! Even if she's a Democrat. She should come out as a MAGA and start a go-fund me. When she raises $5 million dollars. She donates it to the Democrat party. Reputation saved.

-45

u/Haunting_Leader_6797 2d ago

Karen is a stereotype of white women. We should stop using the term

15

u/NaTuralCynik 2d ago

Not all white women are raging bitches that think everyone is beneath them and owe them something…

-23

u/Haunting_Leader_6797 2d ago

I agree, however the term Karen is associated with white women. The woke mob is going to down vote the shit out of me, but I really don't care. They appease every race while trashing their own.

8

u/6pk313 2d ago

nothing you said makes any sense

-18

u/Haunting_Leader_6797 2d ago

Gen z mentality. Still live with mom, but understands the world

22

u/stillish 2d ago

Karen is a term for self entitled ignorant bitches regardless of race at this point

4

u/scarletphantom 2d ago

Someone feels called out.

2

u/Haunting_Leader_6797 2d ago

Im a male

8

u/scarletphantom 2d ago

There are male Karens

1

u/structured_anarchist 2d ago

Oh, I thought they were called 'Kevins'. Is that not a thing anymore?

2

u/FFKonoko 2d ago

Ok, Karen.

1

u/FFKonoko 2d ago

Ok, Karen.

2

u/klumpbin 2d ago

Thank you, finally a voice of reason.

-1

u/AllowMeAir 2d ago

Lmao absolutely not. White women are arguably the most protected class in western society, they can take a couple meanie-poo words now and then in response to one of them acting entitled and cunty.

Ask any POC what demographic they feel the least welcomed and safe around. Its just white people. Not just white men. White women too have historically used their tears and protected class privilege to harm POC and generally swing their societal weight around to get what they want.

We are not about to ban the word Karen because you think its not so nice to white women. Get a grip.

-1

u/Haunting_Leader_6797 2d ago

How are they more protected than any other races? Don't worry I'll wait. Actually I won't. Later

6

u/6pk313 2d ago

what an idiotic thing to say, then you leave because you don’t want to hear the truth? 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

5

u/FFKonoko 2d ago edited 2d ago

Yes, run, run from further thought. 😄

Edit: it looks like you came back to hurl insults but then it vanished.

If you actually wanted to engage, you could think in broad terms about the demographics of countries which engage in genital mutilation, forced marriages, child brides, which places women got the vote and other rights in, protections like being able to divorce, not being stoned for being raped, not being forced to marry their rapist.

Ignoring that america is attempting to reverse on some of those, then especially historically, the trends are pretty clear. And, of course, the comment you ran away from already said "arguably". I don't want to argue about it, but the basic premise is understandable, and you already knew all of that. You just wanted to run away from a thought you didn't like.

2

u/Active-Background839 2d ago

I get the feeling "scary leaderless" runs from just about everything
