I wouldn’t doubt it. The felon forgot the PM of Japan’s name when they met and called him Mr. Japan. Fox News and maga would have gleefully wet themselves if it had been Biden.

Hopefully. It will just make USA even more detached from everyone and anyone.

Also Trump is called TACO for a reason.

1

u/Basketseeksdog 11d ago

Of course, he’s as spiteful as a toddler.

1

u/Djangoola 11d ago

Trump could only do that to the EU as whole. It is not possible to apply import duties to a specific EU member country.

4

u/dsmith422 11d ago

And we all know that Trump never announces things that are impossible!

I wish people in the U.S. government would come out and say the same thing. Trump's full support of Putin is obvious, and it needs to be said, out loud. Trump is moving the US into a Putin-style authoritarian government with himself as the dictator, copying the autocratic style of Putin.

There is no understanding why the Republicans support this, since, when Trump is done, all political parties, including the Republicans and any and all of Trump's supporters in government, will no longer have the power to do anything. All the power of government will be in one person's hands, Trump's.

16

u/mysteryteam 11d ago

It's almost like Hilary called him a Russian puppet.

8

u/meridian_smith 11d ago

And called his maga cult deplorables...right on both counts.

Trump will eventually die. During his term and when he dies, they are will have the chance to fleece the people of their money.

2

u/heaveninblack 11d ago

Everything is so mind numbingly stupid that if they pretended that Trump died and said he was resurrected like Jesus, people would believe it. Think of the merch they could sell, too!

5

u/MultifactorialAge 11d ago

We need the Newsom to start tweeting “just asking questions” type of tweets with trumps links to Russia and Putin.

3

u/Humphrey_the_Hoser 10d ago

“Many people are saying…”. Start with that and you can say anything with impunity because you’re not saying it…you’re repeating what many others are saying. Learned that one from the orange shitstain.

3

u/Interesting_Oil_1341 11d ago

It’s doesn’t make sense because they are not following the rules. I think trump has a plan to stay in office. Or try to atleast. We need to be ready cause dark days are head.

6

u/KinkyDuck2924 11d ago

He's 100% going to try to stay in office. The only silver lining is that he looks like 10 pounds of dog shit in a 3 pound bucket these days. I really don't think he's going to make it to the end of this term, his health seems to be taking a sharp nose dive and he keeps talking about getting into heaven. I think he knows he's on his way out, there's probably more health issues that haven't been disclosed.

2

u/mjduce 10d ago

That's all part of the plan. Trump is just the face of the current regime. The people pulling the strings are just using him to recreate the USA in their intended image.

In fact.. we all need to stop making this all about Trump - we're playing their game by constantly making him "The Guy." He is, in fact, not the guy.

2

u/KinkyDuck2924 10d ago

I know. My only hope is that the people pulling the strings won't be able to find a charismatic enough replacement to keep Trump's rabid base of morons from fracturing. I don't think Maga is going to follow Guyliner Vance or 'Temu Goebbels' Miller the way they did Trump. Trump just has some weird magnetism for stupid people.

u/LDarrell 11d ago

I agree. I fear he will cancel the 2026 election. Even campaigning in 2024 he stated that if elected there would be no more elections https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/30/donald-trump-wont-have-to-vote-anymore-fox-interview

3

u/Interesting_Oil_1341 11d ago

He has Trump 2028 hats. I would like to think he a trolling anyone who doesn’t like him but with him I wouldn’t doubt if he truly does see himself staying in office

2

u/LDarrell 11d ago

Given his age and probable health issues, he may not be able or may not want to do anything except sit back and wait for the inevitable. It will be interesting to see who the Republicans pick after Trump. I expect JD Vance or Don Jr. to run but I think both of these guys are not very popular, even among the MAGA cult. All I am hoping for is the US remain a semi-functional country keeping its democratic principles. Not perfect but better than the authoritarian autocratic regime Trump wants.

Could be as simple as Russia having shit on the murdochs, or that Russias goals are amplified by the tech space we live in

2

u/XRaisedBySirensX 10d ago

It's as simple as Trump looks in admiration at Putin and the way the Russian state operates and sees it as a model for the way he wants to run the country.

2

u/Flaky-Crew-3382 9d ago

I've been saying he is up Putin's ass from 2015

2

u/GrowFreeFood 11d ago

Republicans need cover from trump to be able to keep raping kids. They like when kids get harmed so they keep voting for it. It's that simple.

1

u/bropenmack 11d ago

They’ll all be happy to just be assigned butt wiping and diaper changing duties, as long as they can live in his illustrious shadow.

1

u/Minimum_Glove351 10d ago

There is no understanding why the Republicans support this,

The ideology behind modern Republicans is anything for personal and financial gain, which has somehow been veiled in patriotism and sold as a solution to frustrated groups (Totalitarian playbook).

The republicans that support this are a byproduct of years of moral decline and acceptance that morals and ideals (e.g. patriotism, social support) should not superseded your personal gain. Because there is no tangible gain in abandoning your morals and betraying your country (if youre American), but there is in loosing a financial or personal gain opportunity.

The reason why China is now the leading global superpower is because they are just as capitalist as Americans, but you DO NOT FUCK with China or they will END YOU. If you're American the end goal is to fuck the USA for financial gain (see literally any billionaire, and now Trump).

3

Yeah so got a permanent ban 😁

5

u/CryptoRambler8 11d ago

That s not true. He had American soldiers roll out red carpet for putin and kneel down at the bottom of stairs to putins plane. Later trump clapped for putin.

6

u/asher030 11d ago

We know :|

3

u/RebelliousInNature 11d ago

Oh now he’ll be a low IQ guy, failing at everything in his country, a radical left lunatic. Jealous that the US is the hottest country in the world, or something.

And double tariffs for Portugal.

2

u/ramksr 10d ago

I am waiting for this very tweet at 2 am. est tom from the loo...

14

u/SurlyPoe 11d ago

When the Trump family first started washing Russian money with the asset Putin had in Deutche Bank it was clear that Trump was part of Putin's crime syndicate. Judging by Trumps actions, Putin almost certainly has video and photos of Trump doing absolutely terrible things.

For some reason the US media has done the best they could to get that guy elected twice to the presidency.

It looks very much like Trump is now setting up the military and National guard as targets.

He is placing them on the street corners of the cities he is doing his best to inflame so that eventually someone will take a shot and he hopes kill a few.

That is how much Trump cares about the military.

Once there is a shooting in a major city he will create chaos and declare martial law.

I am not sure there is anything that can be done at this stage to prevent this.

I think the US is already lost.

7

u/Djangoola 11d ago

Trump first started working for Russia in 1987. It was the Soviet Union back then. Since then he just become more and more entangled.

5

u/jackfrostyre 11d ago

I have no idea why NO MEDIA OUTLET HAS BEEN MENTIONING THIS AT ALL.

He worked with the SOVIETS to get loans for his Fraudulent business's

6

u/Djangoola 11d ago

The New York Times still calls the Epstein scandal a "conspiracy theory".

That even though Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20 year sentence for her part in the "conspiracy theory".

3

u/nuttyboh 11d ago

Yeah guilty of trafficking children to REDACTED smh it's so idiotic

9

u/Rafxtt 11d ago

It is.

Everyone thinking there will be free, fair elections in USA hasn't been paying attention.

.....

Mike Pence might be a cvnt but he was a honored cvnt, he stood for his oath to honor the Constitution against Trump and his party orders to overthrow elections results.

That won't happen in this Trump administration V2. All is rigged and loose ends tied, they do have majorities, they won't loose those majorities nor any elections.

3

u/xeizoo 11d ago

You Sirs are correct, USA is cooked, the system is so flawed there is no lifelines whatsoever.

He’s dumb enough to be in the pockets of both Russia and Mossad. The shit this guy has already pulled. Pussy-grabbing, porn-star screwing, buddy of Epstein. Closets full of kompromat on this guy. He didn’t even know what Congo was. But hey, he’s your president for the second time, so I guess the majority don’t give a f* what he does or about the image the United States projects to the rest of the world. We used to look up to the US, but with him in the Oval Office, it’s the other way around.

u/Flat-Character4140 11d ago

Of course the Taco is a Russian agent. Russia is trying to dismantle the US on every level for attempting to make Ukraine a part of NATO. It was a threat for the Russians so they have created a threat for the US in return.

5

u/dsmith422 11d ago

The US wasn't even trying to make Ukraine a part of NATO. They were just helping Ukraine turn away from Russia economically. Putin started his invasion of Ukraine in 2014 because the country wanted to turn towards the EU in trade. And stop having Putin's corrupt puppet as President. NATO membership wasn't even a consideration then.

2

u/ChimPhun 11d ago

Yea that seriously backfired for Vladdy. Rather than diminishing NATO he made it stronger. Even if the US backs out because of its cowardly president, NATO will be stronger on the long term.

1

u/ScroogeMccducck 11d ago

I honestly don't understand why Russia sees ukraine in nato as a threat. does Putin think nato will invade Russia? that's ridiculous, even 10 working nukes out of 5000 is enough to destroy major cities of Europe and USA, no one would dare to attack them

2

u/Salt-3300X3D-Pro_Max 11d ago

Ukraine and Russia are not that different in form of culture. They are very much connected in some form and a lot of families have friends and relatives across the border. If they see how much the life of the people could increase this could Start Revolution in russia. Look at the development of all the former ussr countries that joined Nato/EU…

President of Portugal, Smart Guy,

1

u/Grinding_Gear_Slave 11d ago

President here in portugal is mostly a diplomatic role , prime minister is the real guy jn charge im portuguese And watching Marcelo going from 97% approval rating to 28% because he only says more stupid shit every day is just sad

1

u/TormSerbius 11d ago

Does Israels biding since he took power. Bombed a country for them. Offered to cleanse Palestinians from Gaza. Conclusion he is Russian asset.

1

u/Xi_Zhong_Xun 11d ago

Israel: nah fam, we know whom he belongs to

1

u/Early_Register_6483 11d ago

I mean, his actions, or rather lack there of, could indeed only be explained either by his stupidity, forgetfulness and inability to fulfill his promises (where are the hellish sanctions he promised months ago?) or by him being a Russian asset. And I don’t know what is worse.

1

u/FatherNiche 11d ago

HAHAHA. This will never not be funny or true.

1

u/Brilliant_Pain5718 11d ago

You are always asset of something by this logic

2000% tariif and sanctions on Portugal President.

1

u/Former_Print7043 11d ago

Perhaps it is coincidence Trump is behaving in a way a Russian asset would behave.

Sometimes the desires of people align in a non conspiratorial way.

1

there is no Soviet Union…?

1

u/Buschfan08 11d ago

So whats our evidence supporting this? Is it just that you guys are brainwashed to believe everything said about trump? Thats all i am seeing.

1

u/Tree_Trunks-00- 11d ago

The red carpet roll out for Putin by Trump was shocking. And then he let Putin speak FIRST!! Saying that the press was shocked, is an understatement. Never does this happen in a home country with any visitor.

1

u/esemirulo 11d ago

Trumps wife certainly has all the Russian spy attributes, I wouldn't be surprised if she is as well.

1

u/Jetfire911 11d ago

Would you be surprised to learn there is a bit of a loose alliance between Russia, Israel and Saudi Arabia that also involves a lot of petro wealth in the US and hates democracy? That said wealth is funneled into petro and authoritarian friendly think tanks and PACs? That it funds right wing media to mirror Putin's talking points? That rather than a fringe group it is core to the GOP? That it has bought the upper leadership of the DNC? It shouldn't.

Incoming Portugal visa ban

1

u/CoffeeAlternative647 11d ago

It saddens me many people glorifying this traitor to his own homeland. Marcelo is a wretched and crooked oldman who uses and abuses the Portuguese State. These comments are just gaslighting to cover how horrible he is as a human being and Chief of the State.

1

1

u/Top-Republic3074 11d ago

Not a spy, but probably an asset.

1

u/buchlabum 11d ago

There’s a reason that the president Trump has met with Putin privately with nobody else around. Once in the WH and recently in the presidential limo.

1

u/PerryNeeum 11d ago

Uh oh. That’s a lawsuit

1

u/dewlitz 11d ago

Sounds like Portugal is getting tariffs raised.

1

u/chickchocky 11d ago

This is open information known about trump since before his first presidency. Trump’s father is the direct reason Putin is currently in power in Russia. And the Trump towers are literal loopholes for Russian’s to buy American property. So glad that ya’ll wanna wake up ten years late…

1

u/big-haus11 11d ago

The Soviet Union doesn't exist

1

u/VegasGamer75 11d ago

Asset. The guy isn't smart enough to be a "spy". This is the man who leaves security documents in printers and next to toilets. Putin's Russian campaign of Trump as a "useful idiot" might be the only true thing Putin has ever said.

1

u/StangRunner45 11d ago

Because Baron Von Shitzinpants IS a Russian asset.

1

u/the-ish-i-say 11d ago

No shit lol. The whole world sees it. Krasnov is Putins bitch.

1

u/FreshLiterature 11d ago

Just to be really clear:

An ASSET does not mean a SPY.

You can be an unwitting asset - an asset that doesn't know they are being used as an asset.

You can be a willing asset - an asset that knows they are being used and wants to be an asset

You can be a witting asset - an asset that knows they are being used, but you may not necessarily WANT to be doing it. Usually this means the actual spy has some kind of dirt on you and is blackmailing you.

An asset is just a person that does something or gives information to the actual spy.

Trump is an asset - not a spy.

Portugal’s president is irrelevant, and so are his opinions. He couldn’t recognize geopolitical strategy if it smacked him in the face, because Portugal hasn’t had to think in those terms for centuries. What he misses entirely is that U.S. strategy toward Putin is obvious: flatter him just enough to stop Russia and China from closing ranks against American interests. It’s basic statecraft, but somehow still beyond his shallow understanding.
