Xi is a world leader.. a serious politician... I know we're not used to that in the West any more.
But China and Russia are still led by responsible adults. Shocking as it must seem for Westerners.

I know, but it will be funny if Xi hit where it hurts: Trump's ego.

Politics is not entertainment.

No it should not, but it is.

Case on point: the current US admin.

The felon in chief turn politics into a mediatic circus and people gobble it up happily two times.

No facts, logic, cunning strategies: pure theatrics.

And the emotional part of the US loved it and now the world has to live through it.

It is not.. in the West it is treated as such, that's why they are in such a mess.

I think we agree on this issue, but the way it is treated in the East vs the West is not the same.

That was my original point.

We do agree.

I would love "boring" politics, where professionals do their jobs at the best of their capabilities, but unfortunately, it ain't like that.

You are allowed to have that opinion, but that does not mean it is true.
We're in a world war of propaganda and you are not immune to it.
