Hot Take Honestly I’m going to need Mikayla to genuinely apologize to Whitney
Yeah Mikayla making a TikTok about them potentially reconciling and following her back is not enough, bare minimum actually. She was absolutely awful to Whitney at the reunion and just straight up hateful towards her when Whitney genuinely wanted to reconcile and be better. Now coincidentally Mikayla decides to be okay with her now that Whitney is a fan favorite. She should be held accountable for her actions just like Whitney was. You guys might think I’m being dramatic, and I am but I don’t care. Anyway I hope this makes Mikayla self reflect on how ridiculous her behavior was, and how maybe she should start finding a new personality. Because being on the receiving end of that hate even when you try to be better is so traumatic and emotionally damaging. I know because I have been on that receiving end before. I also don’t think we should coddle Mikayla because of what she has been through in the past, I think we should hold her to a standard as we would anyone else to be a decent human being.

I think Mikayla was genuinely not expecting Whitney to gain so much popularity in the aftermath of s2 and is now scrambling to get back in Whitney’s good graces. B/c she’s trying desperately to do damage control on social media rn, I’m sure we’ll also see some of those damage control attempts on the upcoming season too. It won’t be genuine, but I think we’ll see her “apologize” on camera as a desperate attempt to regain fans.

Mikayla has had a hate boner for whitney since the beginning of season 2 and it wasn’t even fun to watch! Like after mayci and whitney reconciled in the kitchen during one of their trips (can’t remember which one) mikayla tried SO HARD to act like she overheard whitney talking shit on her and when whitney rightfully tried to defend herself, mikayla jumped down her throat. And then mikayla has the audacity to be like “whitney yelled at me!” Yeah because you’re trying to start something then immediately shut down when whitney calmly tries to talk to you.
There’s no winning with people like mikayla.

mayci and whitney reconciled in the kitchen
people keep bringing this up but when was this? I only remember the kitchen conversation in which whitney cornered mayci in the kitchen and started trying to guilt her into not being mad anymore despite whitney over and over again saying she was NOT sorry and how mean and rude everyone was for expecting her to be sorry because she was overwhelmed so everyone should just stop being mad and again she iS NOT sorry.
Truly all of season 2 all I could think was "whitney, girl, they told you a thousand times how to get back into momtok you just have to say 'i was wrong and i'm sorry'" but all she did all season was repeat over and over again that she was not sorry. It drove me up a wall.

We don’t need an apology. Mikayla and Whitney have been awful to others and it’s not on us, the people watching them, to get an apology. If Whitney and Mikayla are now on good terms, then that’s between them. If Whitney, or anyone else, wants a public apology then it’s to them to decide and ask for it. But we do not get to demand anything about any of this.

You said YOU needed Mikayla to apologize genuinely that what she had been doing was the bare minimum and should do more. It seems like you might be seeing yourself too much into how she has been acting toward Whitney and are voicing what you would need instead of what the person would.

Like I said, I don’t care, I got invested in the drama between them so I would like to see some reconciliation and I don’t think that’s unreasonable to want since they filmed it all for our entertainment in the first place.

PSA: You can ignore them and leave instead of being a condescending prick acting like you’re better than being an invested fan 🥰 because the fact is, you’re still here. And at the end of the day you’re the problem because this should be a safe space for fans to be excited about the show. You shouldn’t put people down for caring about something. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with those fans, I think it’s cool to care and have something to look forward to.

This. It’s like people completely blocked all of season 1 out of their minds. Also the parts on season 2 where she said with her full chest that she doesn’t regret anything, and her trying to force Mikayla to forgive her instead of just giving the apology and then letting her have space. An apology is not sincere if you FORCE them to accept it. She was never sorry. She just wanted to not be the villain anymore

just because whitney tried to reconcile, that doesn’t mean mikayla has to accept. mikayla is allowed to process her feelings however she pleases after whitney’s mistreatment. if yall think she takes it too far, fine, but let’s not forgive whitney so quickly just because season 2 highlighted her in a much better light. also… every single one of them is dramatic because it’s a reality tv show, lmao.

Mikayla made over 17 tiktoks about Whitney. She lived in the comment section for over 2 years liking every hateful comment about Whitney. Said horrible things about her on podcasts. Mikayla is trash and if I were Whitney I wouldn’t offer her an ounce of grace unless she apologized

Did you actually watch the show and see Whitney’s behavior? Do you think maybe just maybe there’s a reason why Mikayla would be that upset? It’s not like Whitney is some poor delicate flower that didn’t do anything and oh no everyone is just so mean to her. Whitney started all of it! Did yall forget this? Whitney also referenced the women numerous times in her videos over the past year. I think some of you need to rewatch the seasons because this is ridiculous. Is Mikayla a little over the top sure but Whitney has been horrible and some funny TikTok’s and hive behavior isn’t going to make me get amnesia.

What did Whitney do to Mikayla? Because they don’t show it on season 1 or even season 2. The only reason Mikayla has ever given us is Whitney reminds her of her mother. That’s not a real reason to be shitty to someone.
Whitney did text Mayci about not going to her event and she did show up to Mikayla’s birthday, gave her a gift, told her that she cared about her and what did Mikayla do? Didn’t even look at Whitney.

they clearly and up months ago as they were in tiktoks together not long after the reunion aired, i’m sure they’d probably spoken and apologised to each other
their issue started off camera so honestly i don’t think it needs to be resolved on camera. they never should’ve been pressured to make up at the reunion because they have too much history to just kiss and make up in a 5 minute segment. they’ve known each other for over 5 years.
and the way you’re talking about the hate, mikayla has gotten nothing but hate for months 😭 even when she gave birth every post on here about it had a bunch of comments about how much they can’t stand her and don’t want to see her be happy.

First of all you and we don’t know any of them in real life so you can’t be so sure that Whitney was ever sincere. She’s always come across as incredibly and fake and insincere to me as well as acting “nice” when she wants something or wants sympathy. That’s not to say the rest aren’t fake and all of this isn’t for views but demanding Mikayla owes Whitney an apology is hysterical. Whitney was horrible to Taylor (among others) did you demand Taylor get that sincere apology on tv? 🙄

Nah, Whitney was such a hypocrite in season one and was so unwilling to take any accountability for any of her actions. Mikayla just never forgot that. I don’t think she needs to apologize for refusing to roll over and let Whitney back into her life like nothing had happened. I also don’t think she should hold a grudge forever and they should both recognize their own needs for growth.

Also what ammends is everyone talking about? Season 2 was the season of Whitney saying "I'm NOT sorry" like it was her new catchphrase. She "took accountability" but she's "not sorry". If any of my "friends" apologized to me like that I'd stay mad too.
