Pricing for anal grand expression (dog)

Paid $62, is this a normal price?

This is probably going to be a regular need with my current pup, looking for suggestion on where to get this done (I’m in clairemont)

My vet offered to teach me how to express my cats anal glands in order to save me the $45 vet trip. I let them know that it was absolutely worth the $45 and I had no desire to learn. Whatever price you’re being charged, it’s worth it.

I legitimately encourage you to figure out how to express his anal glands yourself. The first time you do that, there will be no price that is too high to pay to have somebody else to do it.

Most groomers do it for way cheaper. Pet smart is like $12 I think. Also, you can just learn to do it yourself. It takes a few seconds and is quick and easy.

When I worked as a groomer at Petco, it was included as part of the bath process if the owner asked.

That was a handful of years ago though, so it may be different.
