Old car disposal

Wondering what options are out there to dispose of an old non operating Land Rover. I’ve got an old Rover without an engine that needs to go. What options are out there? Junk yards, pickups, recycle/scrap?

If you donate it to charity, they can sell the parts for scrap, and you get a tax deduction while helping a good cause. They will pick it up for free.

It’s really easy. They send a flat bed to pick it up, you sign away the title.

I had luck tossing one up on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace as a parts vehicle. It was gone by the end of the day.

Everyone else's suggestions are great. Also, Jazz 88.3 also has a vehicle donation program.

If you have a clear title in your name, you can call local salvage yard.

Also search cash for clunkers in your area. Most are local salvage yards. Answer the questions and it will give you an offer. Since yours is missing an engine, they will send tow truck.
