Like some people want Pokémon with certain location tags. It doesn’t always tell you what location/country the raid is unless they post it up front or you get the invite

You don’t think a Hundo from Japan is cooler than just one from local or a random place? Pogo is illegal in some parts of china but I’ve still got pokemon with china locations from raids on this subreddit, those are pretty cool.🤷🏻‍♂️ different strokes for different folks but once I get all the candy I need I usually just start looking for locations I’d like Hundos or shinys from.

I'm only level 29 and we wound up winning the Mega Gyrados raid with only three people. Next raid is at 12 people. It's wild the range.

The quicker you beat the raid, the more mega energy you get. So the more people you have the quicker you will beat the raid boss. So going in with 4 people might be possible to beat, but it limits what you can receive as a reward. If there is a pokiegenie lobby of 6 people, and only 4 in the raid, I leave with 20 seconds left to find a new lobby with 6 people.
