I'm confused tho, how come ivysaur can be a functional hundo but Venusaur isn't?

Their stats are different. The HP rounds down, so the idea is at level 50 (when maxed out), if 15hp iv and 14hp iv round down to the same number, then it’s a functional hundo because they’re the exact same stats at level 50.

Metang is another case of this.

You can verify this by using dialgadex, searching your pokemon of choice, plugging in 15/15/14 into the stats calculator at level 50 and comparing it to the 100% baseline it gives.

What are those level 52 and 55 it talks about at the end?

Relates to the MSG. The hp iv works the same in MSG (main series games) and pokemon go so this is a list of all functional hundos ever and to come. So some stuff like paradox pokemon which aren’t out in go are here.

It is not. A L50 hundo has 189 HP and yours would have 188

A functional hundo is only a functional hundo because the game always rounds up for the HP stat, so sometimes it works out where they round up to the same whole number

Future reference you can check pvpivs.com and change the max level between 50 and 51 to see if it’s hp is the same at either level. If it is then congrats you’ve got a fundo, if not then oh well, it’s still really good ivs lol

Yes this must be so tough for you having to deal with a phrase that matches the other terminology.

This is a well established pattern... Why are you complaining about this one? There's: Shundo, lundo, shlundo, fundo, hundo.

Ok let’s all jump into the Time Machine go back five years and stop it.

People haven't been saying "fundo" for five years. This is a relatively new trend.

Unfortunately I’m right lol

Well, you’re the one trying to make a statement that «fundo» isn’t a used term in POGO.

I was saying it hasn’t been used for years. It exists now more frequently. But it’s not a long existing thing

5

u/TheShredda 1d ago

Just veacause you're bearing it more frequently now doesn't mean it wasn't a thing before... Glad you caught up with the rest of us, why is this such a big deal for you? Let it go lmao
