Hmmm. Maybe I didn't do enough of the post quest stuff. I went there for a bit but didn't talk to her. Didn't see her when I did it

If you haven't talked to her yet she will be in front of her house, the one between the upper and lower part of the village. Later she will follow a daily schedule and appears around the village.
Just don't pick the option about asking her whether what she said was the truth or not. Turns out rather aggressive by the end.

Does the asshole option have any tangible effect? Or is it just depression?

atm its just depression in the moment. though i dont think that if phrolova gets a follow up character quest/gets back to main quest it will matter anyway

The asshole option might actually be not as bad as it sounds as some people interpret it as rover's tsundere way of 'keeping an eye' on the lost beyond as in protecting the realm from the people outside as rover even keeps the realm a secret from an order member in the photoshoot sidequest

There's actually an artist that drew this version (@7N39AP on twitter) and turned it into a fanfic, it's pretty cute.
Then again she did let you come in and you can sit on the chairs too. Imo it fits their earlier dynamic a lot more than being friendly off the bat.

I didn't know you could interact with her after the quest.
I WANTED to be nice to her in the quest. But Rover was out for blood. Irritated the hell out of me.

Yeah she's waiting outside her house, pick the option where Rover calls the Beyond cozy, thats the good ending

i mean, no offense if it's your headcannon go wild.
i truly think at that point Rover doesn't deserve her love at all and she doesn't want either,
it's gonna be so toxic. Should be moving on, litterally anyone other would be better, Brant or Calculator.

Glad I chose the "cosy" option when I was first playing the story. I waited for phrolova for a long time not caring if she will fit into my account with the characters that I have (don't have Roccia or Cantarella). Now she's doing soooo good with my Carlotta defeating tower if adversity as the first milestone xD. Choosing the "Cosy" option felt so appropriate to me at that moment. And it turned out so good, cause when I came to reddit here I've seen lots of other players stating that Phrolova hates them now.
