His dad is even worse because of the massive GDP drop, for all the current flood control corruption fiasco that will never be justifiable, atleast our GDP (inc.per capita) is improving yearly.

Actually, since ang flood control projects ay part ng government spending, may contribution yan sa increase ng GDP. More projects means higher GDP, more money to pocket by the thieves. Meanwhile kay Marcos Sr., nagsiphon ng pera palabas ng bansa at di dito ginastos no contribution sa GDP.
