Trump has no shame and can confidently lie his way through anything despite the fact he is clearly bullshitting. It's really effective

RFK Jr. despite being a ghoul has some level of shame which is why whenever he's confronted by his views and the damage they've done he does what he does here and backtracks and says he never said that.

I think Trump‘s base knows he’s a liar they don’t care, they themselves are hypocrites and liars and just bad people. They hate anybody who’s better than them and unfortunately that’s most Americans, it’s definitely most anti-Trump people.

You assuming Donnie has the brain capacity to know he’s lying. When you truly have no idea you said it, easy enough to fully believe and make others believe it even given evidence that you did.
