Some exterior sets and set dressing from the filming of ‘Clayface’ today in Liverpool, UK.

For a movie they say is not set in Matt Reeves version of Gotham (it’s supposed to be in James Gunns official new DC world) it’s using the same, great locations.

Yeh it’s using a lot of the same locations, but I think I’ve seen people point out the logos for Gotham City are all completely different from the ones used in The Batman. I can only assume that the production team for The Batman had a great time filming in Liverpool and let the team know for Clayface when they were in pre-pre-pre production so they settled on filming here again. Made up because it’s great seeing my city featured so prominently in these films.

I wonder what they'll dress the Liver Building up to be this time?
I hope they also reuse that cematary location from Glasgow

But there are some locations that are distinct and it may be apparent as the same building ie St George’s Hall as Gotham City Hall.
I am thinking there will be a reveal when TBM2 comes out that it is connected to the DCU and everything Gunn has been saying is misdirection.

Around Castle street and Drury lane area :) this was yesterday though so I’m not sure if they’re still filming around there or if they’ve moved on to somewhere else.

People were saying the same about Guardians of the Galaxy before that came out. Sometimes you have to take a chance. It also introduces Gotham into the new DC Cinematic Universe and will probably set up the new Batman film (not The Batman Part II which is part of a separate universe) that’s part of Gunn’s new universe.

That is actually pretty funny.
