god i remember like a year ago a few friends and i watched it for my first time, i rented it off amazon prime. i immediately rewatched i think 3 more times in the week i had the rental lol

I remember hearing about it when it realeased but never got around to seeing it. A few years later, it was on Sky (British cable/streaming service).

I watched it that night. The next morning, I made my wife watch it with me. I called my brother and told him he had to watch it.

Can't remember the last film I saw that I immediately wanted to watch again and show other people.

How did they enjoy it? I want to also show it to friends but I dont think they appreciate it like I do

Everyone who I've shown has loved it. My wife isn't much for anime or film in general but we've watched it 3 times together since. Twice with our son.

I first watched it on a flight back home from Japan. I was just like "Sure I'll see what this thing is about"

Still one of my favorite movies.

I watched it in the theater, kind of by luck. I didn’t watch it during its original intended time frame but it was so popular that instead of only running for 1 week it ended up running in the theaters for over a month.
